Movie Man Recliner is a PERFECT addition to my home!

“My sweetie wanted to get me a recliner and so I shopped around and looked for an extra wide recliner and chose the Movie Man Taupe Full Recliner. The chair is absolutely beautiful. The fabric is very soft, and the arms are perfect. The chair is very comfortable, and can serve as a regular chair to sit in, raised foot rest, and then reclining foot rest. The recliner slides foward in full recline and is not difficult to return back to the raised foot rest position. The lever control is easy, but it feels a little low in quality. It is a resin handle, not wood. It works and is easy to move. The chair disassembles as the back is removeable, which allows easier moving if necessary. The taupe color is fantastic. It goes with many colors. I only wish that the Movie Man recliner had a matching love seat. That would have been a great addition. I'm very happy. I highly recommend the Movie Man Recliner. It's a Signature piece from Ashley Furniture. A+ 5*s. Thank you Ashley Furniture.”

Very roomy and the fabric is very soft to the touch , For those people out there who are looking for a BIG chair that is comfortable and are as big or bigger than me I would recommend this chair highly thou the chair is not a rocker.”

“I am a woman with my weight mostly in my lower body, so I find it difficult to recline this chair. I have about 30” inseam and my feet hang off the footrest when raised. The manual handle is very stiff and hard. All that being said I love this chair. The fabric is very soft and cosy. The chair is oversized so pay attention to the dimensions when ordering. Still, my pet and I Love this chair.”

“I absolutely love my Movie Man recliner! It is soft and comfortable as well as sturdy with good support. I am a big man, 5'11" 330 lbs, and it's a perfect fit. My only complaint is the handle to raise the foot/leg support is a little stiff. I would recommend this chair wholeheartedly.”

It was love at first sit, and now I have to fight with the cat for dibs. He loves it as much as I do. Big, wide, plump, stable…and the fabric! PLUSH! Cheezy (the cat) and I couldn’t be happier to share such a regal seat.”

“It was a terrible experience because even though I’m sure it was somewhere in the fine print, Ashley furniture‘s third-party vendor refused to give me a refund or exchange after having a recliner delivered to my 84 year old mother with a bad back pain, but it was not the right chair and it was too stiff for her back. I even explained that I would be more than happy to keep the money that I paid within Ashley furniture and purchase another chair and even add to it if another one was more expensive to suit her needs, but I will still refused an exchange or full store credit. I have spent a lot of money with Ashley furniture over the years and I will never go back to them and any chance I have to influence anyone to not use them due to this terrible service, I will do so.”

“I bought this chair because I am close to 300 pounds and carry most of my weight in lower areas. I wanted a chair that was sturdy and wider than most. However I have the following issues with it. 1) cannot get the footrest to lock when raised. If my legs are up the cat jumping on it lowers it quickly. 2) if I recline it does not hold and as soon as I try to relax it forces me back into upright position. 3) the back cushions stick out too far and makes the seat smaller. 4) the seat was supposed to be 21 inches font to back. Only measures 19 inches. Then with the back cushion even less.
Things I like about the chair. 1) wide full 25 inches arm to arm. 2) color, the brown is a nice color that will hide dog hair easily.”
