Less than stellar, subpar couch.

“This is a less than stellar couch. It looks nice. The material has a cozy feel. Almost like suede. But overall, this couch is already showing wear and I haven't even owned it a year. It's almost like this is more of a display couch that is meant for very little use. Something to accentuate an office or a model home. It's comfortable enough. But I have a tendency to sit in the same place repeatedly. Being a single person, I have my little spot on one side of the couch. When you look at the couch, it's clear where that is. It's difficult to clean and maintain this couch. If you spill something, you want to attend to it immediately. I generally use warm, soapy water and that's worked just fine. However, it does show wear very easily. Which is frustrating. One thing about this couch is that EVERYTHING is sewn in place. You CAN NOT remove the back cushions, nor the seat cushions. Now, that's great because it keeps the form of the couch and prevents the cushions from slipping and moving around and becoming displaced. BUT... when want to clean and vacuum (or even flip and rotate the cushions to equal out the wear) YOU CAN'T. This couch is one whole piece. And vacuuming in the cracks and crevices is difficult. Overall, as a single person, this is just an okay couch. I have no pets, I don't smoke. So the maintenance issues are somewhat minor for me when it comes to cleaning. A headache, yes. But not the end of the world. I wouldn't recommend this couch if you have pets, kids, or a lot of family and friends visiting. This couch wouldn't last a year in those conditions, I think. But, for some in my situation, it looks nice, is comfortable enough, and serves it's purpose. I've even slept on this a few times and that's been relatively comfortable, too. But there are other couches out there far more worthy of your money.”
