Horrible sectional and even worse customer service

“I would give 0 stars if I could. We purchased this sectional in December of 2024 along with the extended warranty which I was told covered EVERYTHING! The plan cost $999.99. We recently filed a claim due to 2 of the couch/recliner cushions developing a lump of foam underneath the material of the cushion. When you sit on the furniture, it feels like there is a wad of socks bunched up under your rear end! We received an email from the claims department stating that the claim was denied due to "6.1.12. seat cushions, throw pillows, or other accessories not purchased as part of the Covered Product are not covered." I guess I just assumed "seat cushions" would be part of the covered product". If cushions are not part of the covered product, what do they expect you to sit on?? And the cushions are not an accessory! How can the warranty not cover the cushions on a couch?? I guess I should have just purchased this sectional without the cushions! Absolutely ridiculous! So with this "great" customer service, save yourself some money and do not buy this sectional or waste your money on the extended warranty with Ashley Furniture!”
