They are on the smaller side and the reclining mechanism is a little tough to push in but for us it is perfect for what we needed. They look nice too. Also loved the delivery how you can track the truck. It allowed me to run home last minute from work. The delivery guys were friendly and fast. Thank you!”

“We were looking for a budget recliner and knew a manual cheaper one would involve some tradeoffs. Definitely check this one out in store before purchase because it is smaller than the average recliner. Incidentally, that is precisely the reason we ultimately chose it because it is smaller than other recliners. It fits better in our small living room and accommodates us fine. I'm 5'6" and 130lbs and hubby is 5'9" 155lbs. It is not a big fluffy/bulky/wide chair and some people who are taller and want their feet on the cushion will likely not prefer this one. My feet hang off right at the ankles but I don't find it uncomfortable but I also don't sit in the chair for hours on end. I also prefer a firm seat and don't like anything pillow/sinking for day to day seating. Haven't had any issues with it snapping from reclining position to upright as others mentioned so hopefully that issue has been resolved in production. All in all, this chair hits the points for firmness, size, footprint and price (we bought it on sale). Another plus--this chair is fairly lightweight and easy for us to move around. Our first Ashley purchase (along with a couch) so we will see how the materials hold up over time as we tend to keep our furniture for many years. We chose the slate and while I like gray it does seem to have a green tint to me for some reason. Husband says he doesn't get that so your miles may vary. Not a big deal as I will probably put a fitted cover over it for protection anyways (we have pets).”

“This recliner is fine for the price I paid (sale price under $300), but not more than that. It is reasonably comfortable. The arm rests are not solid, they zipper on. So they sort of move around when you put your arms on them. Also, when the leg rest is up, if you slightly lean forward it wants to close. When you are reclined all the way back, it doesn't stay there. If you move at all it closes. So it's OK, but I wouldn't buy it again.”

“I really like the chair, it is comfortable and easy to relax in. Trouble is , that is it so slightly tippy. It will not tip over, i tried, but it gives that feel when you get out of it. Also I am 6'3'' and the way the recliner sits, my legs from mid calf down hang off the chair. Has taken some time to get used to it. I love the small footprint, and the fact it can be closer to the wall. The pull tab to recline is awesome, but you recline fully back, and there you slowly more often than not begin to slowly drift back to the base recline position. So 4 stars is fair, and maybe even a bit generous. What I love about the chair, I really LOVE, and the other things are things i can get used too.”

I don't care for the sit up position, the only position I care for is the laid back position. Been that's its small for me theres no curling up in this chair. For me the armrests are right there under my arms no room. the looks of the material im still undecided on. the color has an unusal old used look to it. its plushyness for me lacks a lot. Wished I had gone bigger real leather more room. wish I had gone to store instead of buying sight unseen. But the wife likes it!”

“Perfect! Love the look and feel. The material is soft and leather like. Perfect size for a smaller room with space issues. Hold ups really well with 2 adult cats and a small dog. The cats like to sleep on it and don’t have the desire to claw or scratch at it. Really love the minimal amount of clearance needed to recline back. This is a great feature. My only negative is when reclined part way it won’t stay in place and goes back to the initial reclining spot. Other than that I really enjoy this recliner. Highly recommend for anyone looking for something that’s not going to take up a lot of space and is comfortable and stylish.”

“I needed a smaller sized recliner for my bedroom. I have a shoulder injury that was not healing because I kept sleeping on it. This chair gave me the ability to watch TV and nap in an upright position. I first bought one from another company that was terrible and too small. This one was bigger and much more cushioned. It is also a wall hugger so it only needs a few inches when fully reclined so it won't hit the wall! Easy to put together just snap in the back and zip on the arm cushions! I was actually laughing because the design and cost were so perfect. I love my chair and Ashley people were so great to work with. Delivery drivers were super cool!”
