“The sofa seating surface is firmer than I prefer. Hopefully over time it will break. I feel like I am sitting on top of the cushion instead of sinking in a bit. The zero gravity recline feature is nice. Some sofas don’t raise the legs high enough, but that’s certainly not the case with this model. The sofa was delivered with a tear in the fabric, but Customer Service has agreed to provide a replacement.”

It looked wonderful, the color, the design, the quality, etc. That were soft and confortable. But the sofa was delivered, is very uncomfortable, the sitting feels like you are sitting on a concrete piece. It's totally different that the store. We are not satisfied with this purchase, because this sofa is not cheap.”

“The couches in the showroom are different than what they deliver at home. The outside appears the same but when sitting on the couch it is rock hard with no give at all. In the showroom, my wife’s feet comfortably touched the floor while sitting. At home, her feet are 3” off the ground. I recommend also checking their return policy before purchasing to make sure you read the fine print to know what you are getting into. Overall, we are disappointed with the uncomfortableness if this sofa and regret the purchase.”

“Honestly, we searched for months and months, before settling on this set. Originally, I was wanting home theater recliners with all the bells and whistles. My spot, is the right side of the loveseat so, that was my reasoning for focusing on cupholders etc. Until I experienced Zero gravity seating, we were blown away. It was settled right then and there. The durapella material is unique and we believe it will last a long long time. Assembly was simple and no tools required. Its the perfect middle of the road, between leather and fabric, its durapella. LOL Having a headrest recline forward toward your neck, makes all the difference in the world. It will recline so far back, that your phone will sit flat on your chest bone. Go to sleep, it won't slide off with gravity. The only change we would make, is putting the controls on the inside of the seating, than on the outside. It just feels, as its a bit of a reach, when you are reclined all the way back. However, we wouldn't change a thing. Oh, the stitching is thick and super high quality.”

“This is the most uncomfortable sofa I have ever had! We looked around for a couple weeks, trying different sofas all over. We finally found this one at the Ashley store and it seemed the most comfortable of any We tried. We deliberately did not buy it the first day we tried it, because we have often found that sometimes sofas seem different the second time you try them. We even went and tried a couple sofas at other places that we had sort of liked again to be sure. We finally went back to Ashley a few days later and tried this sofa again. We still like it best. It seemed soft but supportive enough in the back and I liked the slight curve of the leg rests as the seemed to support my knees and not hyperextend them like so many reclining sofas do. So we bought it and waited excitedly for it to be delivered. On the day it came, I left for work just as it was being delivered and my husband was the only one home. When I came home he mentioned that it seemed didn't seem the same, it was HARD not firm and the leg rests hit him weirdly. I tried it and did think it seemed much harder but thought maybe it was just because it was new and the one in the store haf been broke in by being tried by so many people. Plus, I did like that the back cushions seemed to give support rather than almost collapsing like some do. But they did feel on the harder side. Even the material felt differen, more plastic-lile. As time has went by, We also noticed that the inner aspect of the legs rub and almost seem to catch on eachother when both of us recliner them. We've had the couch for about 4.5 months now, and it had not gotten any softer at all! If anything, it is harder as the cushions break in a little. The leg rests do not lay the same when reclined as the store model and hit me in a weird spot under my knees, exacerbating my arthritis. And the little extender on the bottom of the leg rests serves no purpose at all. For me it causes my feet/ankles to fall in it at weird angles and hurt after a while, and their too short to do any good for my husband. Plus, there's no padding on the leg rests to speak of. The back cushions have slightly softened but now fail to provide the lower back support that was one of the few things I half way liked when we first got it! We are going hunting for a new couch tomorrow we hate it so much! Our last couch was the Ashley McCaskill, which we liked a lot but did not last long and they have stopped making.”

“The couch and chair I ordered from Ashley are, without question, the most uncomfortable pieces of furniture I’ve ever sat on—hard as a rock and awkwardly tall. Unfortunately, I was training an employee when they were delivered, so it wasn’t until about three hours later that I had the chance to sit on them and realize how bad they really were. I immediately called my sales rep, only to be told I was stuck with them. The sales manager doubled down the next day, smugly reminding me there are absolutely no returns, and even suggested I sell them on Facebook Marketplace. Seriously? I paid full price for brand-new furniture and their official advice is to unload it like junk online? I listed them for half of what I paid, and not one single person has been interested—which tells you everything you need to know about the quality. Meanwhile, I ended up buying a chair from a different company that actually values customers and offers a return window. Imagine that—an actual return policy. Ashley clearly doesn’t care once they’ve got your money. If zero stars were an option, that’s exactly what they’d get.”
