“I hated the right arm facing sofa because I ordered the left arm facing sofa. Ashley changed the delivery time 3x including the day of they called three hours early and Tod me they were 15-20 minutes away. I left work to meet them and they didn’t get to my place for over and hour. The delivery guys were nice but they brought me the wrong couch. When I told him it was the wrong one, he told me that it looks good the way it is. I knew the couch itself would look good in my place. That was never a question. I don’t want the couch burned by my electric heater so I ordered a left arm facing couch not right. After that it took 4-5 phone calls to the online department and Manchester CT store. A lady from the store INSISTED I was wrong. I lost time at work and I will lose more time this Wednesday when the come back to redeliver the couch I ordered. I love the couch. I hate everything Ashley Furniture.”

“This couch is extremely large- I'd guesstimate 6 full grown adults can sit on it if needed. I am 5'9 and 170 lbs and my partner idol 6'2 and 250 lbs and we can both snuggle together on the chaise alone. Please be sure to measure and make sure your room can "handle" the size of this piece of furniture. If it can, buy it- it's super comfy and aesthetically pleasing.”

Unethical pricing practices

“I went into the store to see the sectional in person. The sales person wrote up the order to reflect the same orientation as the couch on display so it would fit in my living area and charged me $450 more dollars than the cash price and overcharged me on delivery by $79. So, when I got home I went online and realized i could get it cheaper almost $500+ cheaper so I canceled the in store order and made an online order the same way the sales guy did assuming that was the correct arm orientation on the chaise sectional as the one in the store. When the delivery guy droppped the sectional in my garage it was wrapped up. Within an hour I had the chaise unwrapped and ready to go into the house but then I noticed the chaise was on the wrong side. I immediately called Ashley furniture and told them and they agreed it can be returned. There is a 72 hour return policy which i checked online before placing the order. Well, now its been 5 days and still no email with instructions on how to set up the pick up. I feel like they are trying to scam me so I filed a dispute with my credit card company. In the meantime the sectional chaise is sitting in my garage in the original frieght packaging. I feel like their pricing strategy is unethical because the sales guy could have explained my options to me in the beginning on the cash/24 month financing options. And, why the increase in white glove delivery? In store they charge $279 but online its only $199. The sales guy wrote up the sectional for $2399 which I could buy at $1898 and I did get it at that when I canceled the order with the sales guy and reordered online.”
