like the set overall but....

“I purchased all 3 pieces 2 months ago. I love the functionality, the clean lines and the set overall is very pretty. However, we have found that the seat cushions on the couch specifically, are squeeking when we change position . My husband and I are of average weight and yet we can hear the springs making noise with our movement. I am fairly certain it will get worse. I am very disappointed in this.”

“I am super disappointed in the color and comfort of both the couch and recliner in this set. It has no lumbar support and since it arrived on 7/12 I have had pretty bad back pain with no previous issues. It’s now 7/16 and I can hardly sit on the couch without discomfort. The color is also not what I was expecting at all based on the Ashley Furniture Instagram page that showed a much more beige color. I’m unbelievably disappointed in the couch and can’t really accomplish much thanks to the “All sales final” policy.”

“We love our new sofa, firm so that it helps us stay aligned, while the electronic recliners add the perfect level of comfort. It reclines quite a ways actually, so potentially could sleep in it. Love the fabric texture and firmness. Great find, we tried it at the store first and found the great price online!”

Watch out for VOC's! (Volatile organic compounds)

“Bought the couch/loveseat and they were delivered on 9/2/2025. The couches are comfortable, no issues with that part.
After sitting on the couches or being in the area of the couches my wife and I started to get bad headaches/dizziness. We couldn't figure out what was causing it.
We paid for a professional come in and test for CO2, Mold and Radon. We did some research and those are things that can cause headaches/dizziness and they all came back negative. They asked if we tested for VOCs and we didn't know what they were. After more research, we bought a meter that tests for VOCs and other things. About a week testing with the meter, it shows that the VOCs were around 800-900.
After we seen that our issue is the VOCs from the new furniture, we then had to buy a VOC purifier. Since the purifier was purchased and runs 24/7 in the area with the couches the VOC level is in the low 100's and we no longer have the headaches/dizziness.
We've bought furniture from Ashley before and other company's and never had an issue like this. We would not recommend these couches to anyone. The health concerns that VOCs can cause, the additional expense it took to figure out what was exactly causing our issues. Wouldn't want anyone else to go through the issues we did.”

“Our Ashley Furniture delivery window was 4:15–7:15 pm, but the crew didn’t arrive until 9:30 pm. We received several delay notices and were offered a reschedule, but we worried the delays would continue. The delivery team was polite but seemed unorganized, which was disappointing given the high delivery fee.
Also, the sofa we received sits nothing like the one in the showroom—it’s much firmer and sits so high that my feet don’t touch the floor. Ashley is sending a representative on Dec. 2nd to assess the issue, and I’m hopeful they can help resolve it. Overall, the experience so far has been frustrating, but I appreciate that they are at least taking a step to address it.”

“I think it was a bait and switch and not the sofa I purchased. It's different material, different shape, different buttons. It's cheap, I can feel the wood through the arm rest, which was not the case with the one in the store.
I think your sales people know because she did mention something about "the one you'll get" and when I asked for clarification she changed what she said.”
