“I don't know why any sofa bed would still have that damn bar in the small of your back making the bed uncomfortable. The foam pad is not worthy of being called a mattress. It's barely a pad. I wouldn't recommend the bed for adults.
To remedy the situation I put a self inflatable 3" pad under the foam pad. I don't know why Ashley doesn't do that. Create a sofa bed with an inflatable foam core mattress that provides comfort which can be deflated and folded into the sofa.
The sofa on the other hand is firm, extremely comfortable and well built.”

Exactly what we wanted! (but did require some assembly)

“The couch is fantastic! Exactly what we were looking for.
Only took a star off because the order said assembly was included, and the outlet that dropped off the couch did not assemble it.
That would not have been a big deal (not a lot of assembly required), except the instructions to put on the feet said there would be pre-drilled holes and there were not. We had the tools to get it done, but just sharing in case others find themselves in a similar situation. Have a drill in hand.”
