“I have owned this set less than a year and it is the worst quality. The fabric pills and frays in every area, the seat cushions are majorly sunken in, and we are hardly even home to sit on it. The back cushions are very lumpy, deform easily, and are never comfortable to lean on. The accent pillow came with a weird and off-putting odor that I could never get rid of, so I purchased separate pillows elsewhere. We paid $350 for the 5-year warranty and the technician said none of these issues are covered. I wish I could get my money back for the entire thing because I need to purchase something else before I lose my mind. Don't waste your money or time.”

Fabric pills, cushions lose shape, poor quality

“We purchased this couch about six months ago. Within one month we noticed that the fabric began to pill. I contacted the local store and they promptly provided a new set of cushion covers. However, the pilling is now so bad that you can see it from across the room. The fabric used is "known to be more likely to pill" according to the customer service representative that helped me. Pilling is not covered in Ashley's warranty.
The cushions lose their shape quickly. I am now stuck with an eye sore that I am constantly trying to re-fluff and cover with blankets to hide the poor quality of this piece.
Ashely, please consider discontinuing the Maggie collection. Although it is beautiful in the showroom, it does not hold up to everyday use.”

“Love this couch! We have had the sofa and loveseat set for almost a year. It’s very comfortable and very easy to clean. We went with the darker of the two colors, and I was still worried it would be too light for kids, but we’ve already had some major spills and it came right out. It’s definitely a cozy, plush couch, with decent support. But if you like a firm couch, this probably isn’t for you. I don’t find that the actual seat cushions sag, but the back cushions do; however, that was the appeal for me. I like a slightly lived in look without it looking drabby, which is exactly how it looks. It looks lived in but like it’s supposed to be. Still beautiful and can easily plump back up. So happy with are purchase and been happy with the price!”

A perfect lounge, sleeper.

“A much needed couch. Perfect if you need it as a bed to. Firm, supportive cushions. The cushions can be flipped and interchangeable, to prevent sagging. The pillows are feather filled. Back cushions come off as well. It's really the best you'll find if your looking for this type of furniture.”

“I bought this couch and love seat after reading all the wonderful reviews and loved them for a few months. We have owned them now for a year and they are horrible. The couch is pilling everywhere, the pillows are pilling, it’s impossible to clean, and the back cushions are all deformed. DO NOT BUY especially if using in a high traffic area.”

“Such a disappointing purchase! This is indeed a beautiful sofa. It looks great from afar, but pills within the first few months of using it. We’ve had ours for about 2 years now, and the cushions are totally deformed/ require constant reshaping/fluffing. The wood underneath makes noise upon every small movement… only advise if you want a sofa for looks not comfort and durability.”

“I would not recommend anyone buy this sofa. The quality is absolutely horrible! I have had this sofa for right at a year, and it looks about 25 years old. The fabric has pills everywhere!! The stuffing for the back pillows clumps together like it’s made with peanut butter. It’s just so cheaply made; it’s an avoid at all costs. I am a single woman with no children, so the wear and tear it has received has been minimal. Litter, NO idea where all these glowing reviews are coming from.”

“It’s pretty for the first month. Once the couch gets actual use and normal wear the fabric pills like crazy. Don’t bother getting the warranty on this either because it doesn’t cover that. Customer service did send new covers but again within a month we were back to pilling and it’s literally scratchy when you try to sit on it. I had to order cushion covers off Amazon.
Back pillows also have no insert at all. They lose their shape so fast and no matter how much extra fill they send you they just get lumpy and lose shape. Terrible design.
I would highly avoid this couch. Ashley needs to discontinue it honestly.”

“This couch is a complete waste of money. I’ve only had it for 2 months and it already looks worn out — covered in lint balls and the back cushions sag just from resting my head on them. The “flax” color is not at all what was advertised — it’s basically light gray, with no hint of tan or brown. I also bought the loveseat and regret both purchases.
Customer service was horrible. I tried to return the couches multiple times before the 30-day window closed, but they refused since the delivery truck had already dropped them off. On top of that, washing the cushion covers is a nightmare.
Save yourself the frustration and money — these couches are poorly made, uncomfortable, and absolutely not worth the price. I 100% regret buying them.”

“Fabric pilled within a month of use and the cushions loose shape. The pictures of this couch look nice, but it is uncomfortable since it provides no back support and the bottom cushions go flat. I’m giving it away for free and consider it a very bad purchase. I have the same issue with the fabric pilling in the ottoman too!”

“1st- i get a call that i had to go downstairs and pick up the sofa, i really thought they were playing a joke on me but NO they were for real.
2nd- the sofa arrived and was damaged, i placed a called to get it fix or return, within minutes the man that was schedule to fix it, called me, tells me he will be at my place between 4 and 6pm,.. 5:30 and still no call no show, so i called him and he said OMG i forgot. by far the worse experience ever.”
