So stain resistant!!!

“I bought this couch about 9 months ago and it has been incredible. I have 2 small kids and a dog, so I knew getting a light couch would be risky, but this thing has stood up to sharpie, spaghetti sauce, ketchup, dog pee, mud, and chocolate. Not a stain left on it with minimal effort. The chaise cover is a little harder to get on and off (which of course that's where everyone likes to leave their mess), but the fact that I got sharpie out of it without so much as a shadow is worth it. It's comfortable, my whole family loves it, and it was worth every penny (and honestly cheaper than a lot of the similar sectionals I looked at). Can't recommend enough.”

“Family of 5. We have 2 teens that are 5'10, two adults 5'11 and a 7 year old. We all fit with total comfort. We also have 2 cats. We have trimmed their nails but even when I caught them trying to claw, there have been no pulls. Kids and Cats....a huge reason we bought performance fabric. Soft! So comfy. We call it our cozy island. Big family fits for movie night! Color is neutral which will fit with tons of color palettes. Paid for premium delivery which is worth it in my opion since this IS VERY heavy. Everything is locked in and stays put. Comes with 8 throw pillows. Perfect blend of form and function.”

“We love our new couch! Perfect for an active family of 5, with 3 boys!! It's comfy, very clean looking. Pillows don't have to be constantly readjusted or anything. It fits our space perfectly.
We didn't pay to have it assembled... just delivered into the house, thought the feet just simply screwed in. A bit more to it, you have to use a drill and screw two screws into each foot, 4 in each piece so 16 total. Took my husband about 45 minutes to so on his own... not bad just beware. And the pieces are heavy and don't move as easy once you put the no skid pads on, so it takes so maneuvering to get the pieces clicked in where you want, but it's worth it!”

“This piece is super comfortable and very durable! The salesperson removed a cushion, stood on the base and bounced to show us how strong it was. He did the same with the arm and nothing budged! It came in 4 pieces but was very easy to put together. We had it assembled in about 30 minutes. The fabric is easy to clean. Any small spots that have occured have easily been wiped away.”

Looks & Feels Years Old After 4 Months

“My husband and I decided to spend more than we were planning and go for the Performance Fabric from Ashley, marketed as durable and family-friendly, ideal for homes with kids and pets. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth.
After just 4 months, the fabric has already started to pill, discolor, and become scratchy. It looks worn out and feels uncomfortable despite very normal use. This fabric is not holding up to the quality or durability Ashley claims.
When I contacted customer service, I was offered replacement cushions covers — but that doesn’t fix the problem. The fabric is not what it is advertised to be.
I’m incredibly disappointed by both the product and the company’s response. Our “performance fabric” looks and feels years old after just 4 months — and Ashley has offered no real solution. Very disappointed.”

“We have only had this sectional for 3 months and it is not holding up. We bought it because of the "performance" material, but its as if it almost soaks in dirt like a cotton ball. The shape is also going quickly and does not feel like the same quality as the floor model we tried out. Very disappointing for how much we paid.”

“I genuinely thought I would love this couch, and when I first received it in May, it seemed perfect. However, by August, the cushions had already started to sag. Now that it’s September, the issue has only gotten worse—so much so that it's beginning to cause me back pain. Considering the price point and the overall aesthetic, I expected significantly better quality. This was my first—and definitely my last—purchase from Ashley's.”

“I got the performance fabric because I read it repels liquid. I understand not completely waterproof but the photo even shows liquid just sitting on the fabric. Well liquid soaked right into the cushions, all the way to the cotton. Of course once you remove and re-stuff the cotton, it’s not going to be the same. But I didn’t think I’d ever have to do that. Getting the cover back on the chaise was very difficult as well. I regret getting this sofa.”

Good for a non trafficked area

“When we first got the couch, I loved the look of it and size, it was exactly what we were looking for and a good price. We sat on it and it sounded like tissue paper, but wasn’t horribly uncomfortable, so we kept it. It’s very convenient to take off the covers and wash them and I appreciate that. But, after less than one year of having it, the cushions have flattened so much. You can tell where people have sat with huge indents and is now not comfortable at all. I do not recommend this couch for a highly trafficked couch, but maybe an area more for looks.”

“I’ve had this sofa for only 4 months and there’s already a dip in the middle of it. I’m 6 foot 210lbs and the couch already has a dip. Horrible support. When I tried it in the store it was firm and amazing. Every day the firmness has dwindled down.”

“We purchased the Sofa with Chaise. Chaise cushion wore badly/deformed and was replaced one time, and then within a short time after that the entire chaise and cushion had to be replaced again. It's only being used by a small woman. Sofa not used much but the cushion on one seat, which was used a handful of times also not holding up. Sadly, already looking for new furniture and this is only 1 year old.”

Extremely Soft and Uncomfortable Sofa

“I purchased this sofa about seven months ago, and unfortunately, it has been a very disappointing experience. The cushions are extremely soft to the point where they offer almost no support. Every time I sit, I sink in way too much, which makes the sofa very uncomfortable to use for more than a few minutes.
Because of the lack of support, this sofa has actually caused me a lot of back pain. It feels great for a few seconds at first, but quickly becomes uncomfortable and even painful. I expected the cushions to firm up or hold their shape over time, but instead they’ve gotten worse.
For the price I paid, I expected much better quality and durability. I definitely wouldn’t recommend this sofa to anyone looking for comfort or proper support.”
