Horrible customer service

“This chair broke a year and a half after we got it. Put in a request to have it fixed, they shipped us the new whole bottom part of the chair 2 months after requesting it to be fixed came in a giant box only to have “no technician available “ to come fix it. Large box has been sitting in our living for 3 months and no one to have it come fix it. The company is ridiculous to deal with. Stay away!!!”

“To open foot rest you have to slide your right hand in the side -which is very tight and hard on your fingernails -and fingers -My wife cannot do it -- I Love the comfort of the chair in all positions. Chair would be 5 Star otherwise----”

“It's been great! Comfortable, nice color and texture, and swivel with recliner works great. The reclining handle is hidden inside the seat which may or may not be a good thing. The handle seems to work fine, but maybe sticks if you don't fully pull it the first time.”

“Great swivel-recliner. Material holding up well. Chair is supportive and comfy. Swivel-rock mechanism well-balanced and solid.
Only drawback is the difficulty of kicking the leg-rest down into the locked position. Chair must be full-upright and rocked back just so for leg rest to clear the floor. Just a nuisance, but not being able to quickly get out of a recliner is why I got rid of all my power recliner. Now I’m stuck kicking a leg rest to get it to snap into place. Makes a 5-star recliner into a 4-star one.”

“The chair is nice. I do find that the stuffing in the lower back is too full. It makes my stomach poke way out. It is not as comfortable as the one in the store. I am not used to the pull cord on the inside of the chair that reclines the chair yet. I have doubts that the cord will hold up over the years.
Overall, I do like that it swivels and rocks and reclines.”

“The Riptyme recliner is a good chair at a good price point. I've always enjoyed recliners that swivel & rock this chair does well. It is smaller than most recliners, but that is the point. My house is small & den is small, so I needed a chair to take up less space. It looks good & sits well. I don't need a small back pillow like I do in other recliners the cushioning is plush and firm. My lower back likes this chair! I'm 6'5" 275 and while it fits me it is tight. I'm not taking naps in this chair like I do my bigger lazy-boy but I paid half the price. Overall it's a good quality swivel rocking recliner that looks good and sits well at a good price.”

“I love the recliner and how well it functions but the artificial leather isn’t as comfortable as I thought, however to overcome this I bought a cheap seat/foot rest cover from Amazon that has arms that drape over and has pockets for remotes and the like. Problem solved. I gave the 4 stars for the covering but that’s my fault not knowing how fake leather wears on the elbows and bottom of the bear legs over time. A microfiber or cloth covering would have been better.”
