Shop anywhere but Ashley

“Absolutely awful – shop anywhere but here. I purchased a new sectional and chair from Ashley in Kenosha, Wisconsin in January. I paid an extra $90 (on top of delivery fee) for “set-up” which included unpackaging and attaching the feet on all the pieces. The “new” chair they delivered had stuffing coming out of it, a large white wire hanging visible on the bottom front of the chair, the underskirt is visible from any angle and is also ripped on the underside. I also noticed the feet are all in different spots. On one chaise, the feet are recessed by about an inch and on the other chaise the feet actually protrude (albeit slightly but enough to cut my foot a few days later) beyond the chaise itself. The misplacement of the feet is visible and obvious. I contacted Ashley within hours of the delivery and informed them of these issues. They asked for photos which I provided and was told they would get back to me. Three days later I followed up asking for status and was again told they would get back to me. A month later, and still no word from Ashley so I again contacted them. They have refused to exchange the defective chair for a new, undamaged one and instead said they would “repair” it. This is unacceptable - I purchased a brand-new piece of furniture, not a defective piece that has been repaired. I also asked for a refund of the $90 I paid for the “set up” fee, due to the issues with the feet, which was also refused. This was my fourth time purchasing thousands of dollars worth of furniture from Ashley and obviously my last. I now get the pleasure of spending time I don’t have dealing with this crap. Learn from my mistake - shop at Colders, Steinha8fels, Penny Mustard, La-Z-Boy - anywhere but Ashley.”

Really digging this ottoman

“It came fast and was packaged great. Out of the box there was no damage nor was there any dimpling to the cushion. The color is what I would describe as a country blue. The material is soft, feels nice to the touch, and the cushion is firm. The deducted star was because it could be better if there were pilot holes drilled for the feet. Not everyone is going to have the strength to attach them by hand with a screwdriver. Our power drill came in handy. If you have wood floors you will need felt pads on the bottom of the feet so it doesnt scratch. I do wish instead of feet, it came with wheels. The size of the ottoman is perfect, not a giant square. Overall we really like it and would recommend.”

“I was surprised that the legs weren't made of wood, but even though they are plastic they still look great. I absolutely love the color of the fabric and how well the ottomans are made. I can hardly wait for the matching sleeper sofa to be delivered. The Ashley Furniture salesman that helped me complete my online order was awesome as well; not only about the furniture but also how to work through the online process to complete it correctly.
