“We purchased this sofa directly from an Ashely store a couple of years ago. From the very beginning there were issues. We hadn’t even had it a week and the fabric had started to come off the back of the sofa and expose the nails and framing. We immediately contacted the store in Winston Salem, NC, where we bought it, and tried to get a solution but we never received any response from multiple requests to have it replaced or at the very least repaired. I tried calling Ashley customer support but all I got was referred back to the store to have them make it right. There are now mechanical issues as well with the sofa, on top of the original problem, which has prompted me to leave a review. It is very difficult to get the sofa back in stationary position once it’s reclined. We do not have pets so there isn’t anything or anyone jumping on the sofa to have caused such issues. Just normal usage but unfortunately a very poorly built sofa. I rarely leave reviews but I absolutely do not want someone else to have the same issues we have had and waste hard- earned money. I felt compelled after the latest issue to steer another customer away from this sofa. I hope it keeps someone else from wasting their money like we have. Sincerely, a former Ashley customer.”

“I have not received my couches yet, so I cannot rate the quality. I can howvere rate the gouging techniques and deception that Ashley uses. BEWARE....if you buy in store you pay nearly double what the online prices are. I discoverd this after the fact, so I called and asked them to cancel the order or price match. We were refunded $1100.00. We only bought a couch and loveseat!!!! The prices in store were $1299. Online were $699. Then we were told we got a cash discount.....After all was said and done, they offered the $699.00 price match, but did NOT apply the $368 cash discount. Fraudulent company. THey lost my business forever!”

“I waited to leave a review after having my couch for almost 1 year so that I could test it out. A couch is expected to last 7 to 15 years but I am already looking at replacing due to comfort level and support wearing down. The footrest is very flat and doesnt have a lot of cushion or support, anywhere you regularly sit becomes indented and the fabric begins to wear very quickly and is itchy on the arm rests and spots that have been utilized frequently. Generally this couch fell flat of basic expectations for comfort, length of use and my overall satisfaction. I wish I had spent more on a La-Z-Boy when I bought this.”

“This sofa has been a nightmare experience for me. I would rate below one star if I could. The first sofa was delivered by people who did not speak English which made it hard for me to communicate with them and show them the problems. The technician who came out told me I should have bought furniture from Macy's. The second sofa was delivered by people who did not know they had to remove the first sofa. They decided to add new backs to the existing sofa. Just before they left, I showed them the damage to the backing. Another technician will arrive July 13. I hope my issues can be fixed then. It is embarrassing to have people in my home looking at damaged furniture. Please do better.”

“I absolutely love the furniture! Super comfy, reclines smoothly, amazing texture of the fabric, easy to clean, and beautiful! Now the negative review. We paid for the white glove delivery. Reclining chair and loveseat are perfect! However the couch came brand new to us faulty with a separation in between the cushions on the back and the entire bottom is crooked. The deliverer tried everything to fix it and he said that Ashley’s policy is to send a technician out to try and fix it first and if they can’t fix it, then they would replace it free of charge. However, Ashley’s technicians are ONLY in the St. Louis area on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Well, lucky us we work both those days. We told customer support (who barely speaks English) our available days.They refuse to send someone out on our available days. So they want us to take a day off work, loose pay, to sit around for a tech. Either replace or refund, I didn’t do the damage, it came that way brand new.”
