“not a good couch at all. makes lots of noise when reclining , like the springs are all messed up and the coushins lost firmness after only 5 months. hoping ashley will step up and exchange the sofas”

Power Reclining sofa / love seat combination

“I love the couch and the matching "love seat" (which is basically just two recliners), on the other hand, my wife isn't "in love" with it. It's too "manly" for her, however she doesn't normally use the living room furniture anyway so it's a win for me. Only problem I have with it, is that it doesn't come with a user manual, to describe all of the features. There are a couple "drawings" which are of little help. Playing with the buttons, I've figured out pretty much every thing, except for one button (actually four - one at each station). each recliner "station" has two buttons for the recliner (up and down), two buttons for the head rest (inflate and deflate), one button (below the USB charging port) which turns the reclining buttons off, the USB charging port and a button above the charging port - which I have no idea what it does. The last button on each right recliner is to turn the LED floor lights on and off.
It would also have been nice if the store had forwarned me that you need a "gang" outlet available for each couch as obviously one outlet is not going to be enough.
I also love the built in audio system (in the "love" seat. ) Again, NO instructions, however it was easy enough to pair it to one of my cell phones, unfortunately my TV doesn't have blue tooth sound. 5 stars on the Audio.
Two colors available one which is kind of a grey color and the other a dark Navy blue. While I liked the grey color the Navy blue fits in better.
Again, only complaint is lack of an actual manual to describe ALL of the features.
Bottom line - would I buy this Couch / Love seat combo again - yes, yes and yes!”

Would definitely recommend it. It’s kind of firm but I like that for support. I just wish I could turn the light button off!”

“Purchased this sofa from local Ashley Furniture store. This is my review after installation and 1 week of use. My first surprise was that this sofa has 3 power cords. I was expecting just 1. 1 cord powers center seat console (its reading lights, AC power outlet, USB ports, and wireless charger); a 2nd large wall wart (transformer) powers the seat motors, controls, and control LEDs; and a 3rd small wall wart (transformer) powers accent rope light and its control button LED. Fortunately, some years ago, I had replaced the standard 2 receptacle wall outlet behind the sofa with a 4 outlet surge protector, so I had sufficient receptacles nearby for the 3 cords/warts. Only the large wart has a lot of cord slack, so plan accordingly. In my opinion, use of a surge protector is recommended due to the use of the transformers which can be more susceptible to failure over time due to surges.
Unlike the ring lights for the seat controls, the ring light for the accent light control cannot be turned off. As long as the small wart is plugged into a receptacle, the light remains lit. After 24 hours, I realized I just didn't have a good use case for the accent lights. I couldn't use them while watching TV because of their reflection on the TV screen, and when turned on while not watching TV the lights cast a lurid blue glow over everything in the room. And the fact that the control button light remained on constantly became annoying in a hurry, especially when watching TV in the intentionally darkened room. After a day, I just unplugged the small wart that powers the lights just to turn off the ring light. I also keep the ring lights on the seat controls turned off for same reason. In the bright store, they appeared to be a cool feature, but in practice not so much.
The designers made some odd choices in regards to the seat controls. I would have expected the controls for the footrest to be the 2 buttons located closest to the footrest with the headrest controls located closest to the headrest. They are not. They are reversed. For future designs, Ashley should consider reversing the button locations and mount the up/down buttons vertically, instead of horizontally, It would be much more intuitive. The are also 2 buttons located above and below the USB port between the foot and head controls. One button switches the ring lights for the controls on/off. The other button resets recliner to sitting position - moves both headrest and footrest to 'neutral'. These buttons are not documented.
Electronics aside, the sofa itself is sturdy and comfortable. It took several days of use to 'break in' the cushions - which seemed stiff when first used, but more comfortable over time. The power recliner motors are quiet and smooth. It is a well made, solid piece of furniture.
I like the roomy storage in the armrests, but wished the hinges had been placed at back instead of sides. As is, a standard 24" end table cannot be set flush to sofa side as there has to be at least 3" of space to flip armrest open to the side.”

“This sofa has exceeded our expectations. It’s truly plush and comfortable. It looks great in our living room and the cup holders, the back lay, the lights both LED and study lights are all great assets. Oh and the outlets come so in handy and I was so happy to have a storage on each side of the recliner so I could store my computer out of sight :).
It looks very modern and I like the stitching too. Very sleek and looks easy to clean and maintain.”
