“After sleeping on this mattress for a bit, I am already waking up feeling more restful and am overall much more comfortable than I was on my previous mattress. I prefer a firm mattress and love the level of firmness it provides as well as the wonderful back support. It is not so firm that it does not also feel a bit plush and cradle you while you sleep. I love how thick it is. This mattress is well made, firm enough to provide a great level of support, and plush enough to provide a comfortable night's sleep. It also has kept me a bit cooler while sleeping since I tend to sleep hot. Overall, I am quite pleased with the quality and comfortability level. I would recommend to anyone looking for a firm mattress that will provide an ample amount of support without feeling to stiff.”

“Just got mattress one month ago. Our new mattress immediately made a difference in the quality of sleep. Our first night's sleep was delightful, both my husband and myself felt the difference immediately and was so comfortable, perfect height and perfect firmness for both. It also fit perfectly on our platform bed with adjustable frame. Quality and workmanship seems flawless.”

Firm hybrid mattress with quilted pillow top = great sleep

“Delivery was a breeze and so simple with the new Sealy Posturepedic Elite Albany II - less then 10 minutes with great text and phone communication prior. The new Albany II mattress is very deep requiring sheets with 18inch+ corner pockets due to the pillowtop/quilted topside. There are full length straps sewn into all side that aid in placement and moving. The Sealy Albany II is a hybrid of technology spring and foam. Unlike other hybrid foam mattresses, this mattress barely moves or acknowledges a pressed hand or movement. My kids tried to jump on it and commented on the firmness. The first night was the test of if it would work having previously owned a firm foam mattress; my husband woke up stating that his back felt much better after sleeping, and I found that I enjoyed the firmness. The mattress does seem to mold a little bit to the body, due to the gel and foam layers, after laying in position for a long time, but somehow still remains firm for a great sleep. As back and side sleepers, we have now slept on the mattress for 3 wks and continue to enjoy it. My husband runs extra hot while he sleeps, and with the Albany cooling technology he has had better rest. I've had firm luxury mattresses at hotels before that felt as hard to the touch as the Albany, but woke up stiff and uncomfortable with those other mattresses. This mattress does not require or need a boxspring- We used a metal elevated (for storage) platform base for it's placement. The height of the mattress feels elevated and luxurious. I recommend trying and buying the Sealy Posturepedic Albany II Firm for a good night's sleep that aids in body recovery and rest.”

This is the most comfortable mattress I've ever owned

“I received this mattress- Posturepedic Elite Spring Firm, Queen - Albany II - for free in exchange of this review. I received it during the winter and replaced it with my old mattress. This mattress is doing a much better job in keeping me warm during the night. It has a layer on top of it, so it's firm, provides good support for people like me who have back issues, and is still comfortable. I know how much it costs, and still think it will be a good investment for a good sleep.”

“I was super excited to be chosen to try this sealy firm mattress since my back has been acting up. Upon receiving this mattress it was super thick and very well made looking. I have slept on it now for several days and it is firm, but not stiff or hard. It has the right amount of firmness while still being soft and cushioned. I am very happy with this mattress and cannot wait to continue having a great nights rest.”

Sturdy Mattress

“I recieved this mattrees for free as a product tester for BzzAgent. If you enjoy a firm mattress, this is the bed for you! It definitely does not feel feel like a traditional spring mattress where you can feel coils that are bouncy. The mattress feels more like a hybrid with a bit of a plush top, but definitely has the support of springs. I don't like memory foam because it is too squishy and you don't get that sinking feeling with this mattress. However, you don't feel movement as much if there is another person in the bed like with a traditional spring mattress. This mattress is also quite deep which is nice on a platform bedframe. This should also add to the longevity of the mattress. Good option if you like a firm mattress!”

“I had previously bought a similar mattress for another room, years before receiving this as a gift. I would spend my money on this, hands down. The firmness is incredible, especially for a back sleeper like myself. The quality of Sealy spring mattresses are superior and I know this will last us many years. It did not run hot for us and I enjoyed the mattress height. Overall, I would buy this again if needed or to replace another mattress in the house. You can not go wrong!”

“What a difference a mattress makes! My husband and I slept SO GOOD since we got it! We both like firm mattresses and this mattress is super firm yet cushiony soft on the surface. It gives great support to our bodies, my husband noticed I don't toss and turn as much in my sleep anymore. I love that the mattress is thick, our bed feels like a high throne now haha. It has a board at the bottom so there's no longer a need to flip a mattress over, just rotate head to foot whenever the time to flip comes. Because of the thickness (and maybe the firmness, not sure) the mattress is quite heavy. She's a chunky girl! Putting a fresh set of sheets on the bed takes a little more effort than it used to, but it's oh so worth it!”
