As the couch arrived I anxiously waited for the husband to get home so we could set it up and unwrap it. I was eager to see if my fate was well placed when I left it in their hands lol. And guess what…..IT WAS!!! My boys pulled out a win for this mama. The couch is beautiful…large..and oh so comfy! Our little family of four can sit comfortably…just on one side!!! “I've owned this couch for about 2 years now and I love it. I like the material and I have fallen asleep on it watching TV countless times cause it's so cozy and warm. Towards the middle of the couch you tend to sink in. I'm considering buying one of those under the cushion inserts to keep the cushions from sagging. I also try to flip the cushions around once in a while to prevent them from looking uneven as I tend to sit on one side of the couch normally.”

I called the store a couple of times to get replacement cushions and no one has bothered to get back with me. I went into the the store and they gave me the info for my warranty, not knowing that cushion wear is only good for one year. I love the way the couch looks otherwise. Also, the footrest seam is leaning off to the side and only my 10 pound dog uses it.”

“As appealing to the eye this furniture is, the color is perfect, I love how it fits this room, but it do not out weigh the level of uncomfortably. In our experience sitting or relaxing on this Alesandre Sofa is compared to sitting or laying on stacks of wet cardboard. It's price point is very much above the quality. This furniture lack support in the structure and lower cushions, the fabric should have been treated to resist common color transfer from clothing. My bottom line is, this choice was a definite miss, just poor quality.”

“This is an absolutely beautiful set. I got the sofa and loveseat. I was able to see it in person and fell in love. It's so comfortable and soft. It comes with a lot of pillows. I've had it for two months and I worry the cushions will start to flatten. I've already had to reshape the back pillows. My set gets I guess what would be considered average use. After work and weekends. I still would recommend it. I'm hoping I can buy replacement pillows and cushions if it comes to that.”

“I've had this couch for almost 6 months and it's worth the money. Great choice if you have cats. I don't know if it's the kind of material but my cat doesn't like scratching it. Even when he tried, it doesn't leave any marks. Also, this couch is so easy to clean. Just use dish soap and water and not even tomato sauce or cat puke can stain this couch. Plus it's the most comfortable couch I've ever owned. The pillows were over stuffed so I had to take quite a bit of the stuffing out to make them more comfortable but now they're great.”

“It was wonderful at first- very comfortable fabric. But after about a year of laying on it every day, the cushion where my bottom lays is completely squashed. I blame myself partly for not understanding that you really need that third panel that most couches come with to avoid this. But ultimately, this is not a couch for laying on or even sitting on too often and is more of an accent piece for a sitting room where it will rarely be used but very luxurious when it is. I got it on super discount for $450 so I'm not too upset, but I see the price has gone up significantly since I purchased and I would not pay more than $350 for this couch knowing what I know now.”

It feels cheap and makes a sound when you sit down on it. It also came with a huge tear underneath it and plastic legs that were discolored. I submitted a claim and the online chat kept saying they would send me new fabric for underneath for me to fix/sew myself?? It has been over a month and have not received any fabric, no new legs and have not heard anything from city furniture or ashleys.”

We did receive a damaged couch and had a rough go on the replacement, but I am not accounting that into this review, The #1 and only thing I genuinely dislike about this couch is the middle. I noticed you sank a noticeable amount on the demo couch in-store but assumed it was just a worn demo couch. Wrong. Less than two weeks of use, and I feel like the middle has years of use and feels very worn. If three people were to sit on this couch together, the middle person would sit significantly lower than the two on the ends. Despite that, I still fall asleep on this couch almost daily as it is so damn comfortable.”

I also love the designs on the fabric since I have an open concept living room & kitchen- the back of the couch is visible and not against where the wall used to be. it blends in and looks intentional/stylish. Really awesome couch all around. I would say the color of the couch has SOME yellow in it mixed with like a muted beige/taupe unlike the picture, so I ended up with an accent chair I ordered online that doesn’t totally match. “This sofa is beautiful, arrived undamaged, and was put together and placed inside my living room efficiently and professionally by the Ashley team! For what this is, a good, mid-range priced sofa, I'm super happy. We will see if it stands the test of time - no way of knowing that going in, but so far, a couple of weeks in, it appears sturdy. I will note one important thing, if you live in a hotter climate - this sofa retains the heat! I live in the Central Valley, CA and it's been 105 degrees for a couple of weeks and while I usually keep my house temperature at 79 or 80 degrees to save money, I have had to kick the AC down to 77 degrees while sitting on this - I really don't mind, because I anticipate in the winter it will be the coziest, softest sofa I've ever felt. I am 6'0" and I can lay down on this comfortably with room still for my pup at the end. Overall, a great purchase.”

“I rarely write reviews but had to for this couch! When we were at the store we kept going back to this couch because it is so dang comfy. I love how soft the material is. It's really easy to keep clean. My favorite thing about this couch is how deep it is. It's perfect to kick back and relax. I can't wait to get the matching oversized chair. My only two complaints about the couch are that the back cushions are filled so I can't just take off the cushion and wash it. I have had to spot treat it (kids) and you can't even tell something spilled. My other complaint is that the back cushions cave down a lot. I just have to spend some time refluffing them so it's no problem, just kind of annoying. Overall, I'm obsessed with this couch and have had lots of guests ask for the link to purchase it themselves.”

Throw pillows are great and match nicely. Reversible cushions to help minimize sagging. Dislikes: cheap frame, creaks at the back when you sit down and the arm rests. Not sturdy. I feel like it’s going to sink over time, it should really have additional Support and extra feet in the center. The 4 feet on each corner isn’t enough for a cheap frame. Not sure how long the cushions will last before they sink but plan on flipping them once a week. We initially purchased an Ashley couch as we have pets and didn’t want to spend $3000 on something if the dogs or cats ruin it in a year or two, but idk I think next we may spend that bit more for quality instead of cautiously sitting on the couch each time just so we don’t break it…”

“Extremely comfortable. More of a TV-watching couch than a formal couch. Very deep cushions so a foot stool or coffee table is nice to put your feet up on, they likely won’t touch the floor unless you’re tall. Fabric is an extremely low pile. Very soft and smooth fabric. The fabric was why I hesitated on purchasing the couch but it is growing on me very much. Back and seat cushions need a “fluff” every once and awhile because it’s not as structured. I’ve noticed this is necessary because the seat cushion fabric gets a bit of a loose wave/puckering after it being sat on a few times. It does go away though once you readjust the cushions like I mentioned. Great buy for the price. No odd factory smells. Should probably give this 4 out of 5 stars… that being said, I do love the couch overall.”

“After using this sofa for a month, I had severe back pain and went to the ER multiple times. The cushions lack structure and aupport and sink in. For context, I am 26 years old with no history of back pain and weigh only 95 pounds. I use this sofa for an hour or two to watch shows every day. Within one month of use, the padding started to accumulate to the front and sink in the portion where I sit. Despite of regularly flipping the cushions, I couldn’t get the shape fix. I am currently taking physical therapy sessions and doctors via to manage my pain. It’s really disappointing spending so much money on this sofa + medical bills and I can’t even sit on it. I really want to exchange it for a more sturdy piece and hoping that Ashley would let me do it.”

I get that couches eventually conform to your sitting habits, but I've never been on a worse couch. Its cheap foam. It didn't stay fluffy for more than months. The arm rests pop in and out every time you get up because its made of something cheap (I'm not sure what it is) but it hollow and makes a popping noise. MAKE SURE TO READ THE WARRANTY. In store associates make it sound like its so great and covers everything...not even close. TOTAL waste of money. I dont write reviews, but I was compelled on this one. I hate it and dont even want to lat down and watch TV in my own home :(”

“I've had my Alesandra sofa for about 5 years now. It has worn very well. I've got 2 100-lb German Shepherds and a cat and they've been on this sofa throughout the years. No tears, no scratches. The fabric is outstanding. And the springs/seat cushions haven't sagged a bit. My only issue is that the 3 back cushions are not removeable! Who does that? I want to be able to take the covers off and wash them.”

“Poor quality couch and even worse protection plan. We got this couch in 2022 and within a year the sofa started to sag. We put a claim in with the $549 plan we purchased and they said that it wasn't covered. We've also had some staining which is covered and they came out to clean it and didn't come clean. I can't wait until we can get rid of this couch. We've had to buy filling and stuff it so we can actually sit on this couch.”

“I was so excited when I found this sofa. It’s wide and soft, I fell in love. Unfortunately, while I’ve only had it two months, the stitching has come already undone on the sofa in two places. I can’t even take it back because they told us that if we use the person they sent out to take apart our couch to get it in the door, our warranty is void. The stitching is on the seat cushions though, so it has nothing to do with the actual frame of the couch. I don’t think I’ll be buying from Ashley’s again”

“Love love love! The cushions are deep and fluffy, the armrests are nice and wide and the material is so soft. This is the perfect family couch, we have 2 dogs and a 2 year old, it wipes clean so well for a fabric couch. Which is a must for our home. It’s easy to pair with furniture and compliments any space. Delivery was a breeze and we have a standard entry door with no way to turn but it came in with no hassle. It’s been an amazing addition to our home and was worth the price 100%”

“We needed a new sofa, and our last Ashley sectional was almost 10 years old, which we gave to our daughter, when we bought this one. I didn't want a sectional this time, as our living room is smaller, We have a large St. Bernard dog, and a small black lab, and so I bought a nice super large throw for it, with a kind of sticky backing which really does hold in place well. Our dogs aren't supposed to go on this sofa, but sometimes they think we won't know it, when we are gone for awhile. They forget to set the pillows back the way they were. lol. This sofa was like half the price of another well known brand in our area (Wolf craft) and we didn't want to spend that much money. We got almost 10 years from our last Ashley sofa, and then both dogs were lounging on it. It is very comfy, and nice and deep too. We are very happy with it. I do switch the seat cushions around, about every few months in hope it will cause less wear, from constantly sitting on one side, which I do. So far it still looks and wears like it is new. We have had it for about 5 months now.”
