Awesome sofa, terrible customer service.

“The sofa is exactly what I wanted for my living room. It is durable enough for my small dogs to jump up and down without scratches and easy to clean due to their shedding. It’s wide enough for me and my partner to lay down and watch tv together. It’s a great mix between masculine and feminine and goes awesome with my boho/ industrial/ country vibes. Great sofa, but terrible customer service. I tried to do a price match, because it was listed on Coleman’s for over a thousand less than Ashley. They didn’t do price match from any site but Amazon. I did not feel like opening another credit card so I stuck with the Ashley purchase. I got a price adjustment due to an email I received for an Ashley coupon which made it better than nothing, although the other price adjustment to match Coleman’s would have been awesome. When the order was placed it stated it would take 1-2 weeks from the order date to be delivered. It took way longer than expected, because someone in Ashley canceled my order. When I called to talk to someone about the order they stated I canceled it and I argued that i had a price adjustment not a cancelation. I ordered the sofa again and expected that Ashley would have additional help for me due to their mistake. I wanted to escalate the case, but customer service decided not to help the customer. I was told I would have someone reach me within 72 business hours. An entire work week later I still had no contact so I had to call again. Ashley told me they would no longer honor the original price adjustment because the coupon was now expired. I had to argue to get. Supervisor on the phone, because the order was canceled by Ashley, not by myself. Eventually the sofa was delivered. While it is beautiful and soft, it was a hassle and probably the worst furniture shopping experience I have ever had. I have spent well over $20k with Ashley and I think this was my last time.”
