I expected a flat piece of metal that went up at the top of bed and had a plug in controller, as that is what I've seen on other platforms. Instead I received a nicely padded platform with a wireless remote that adjusted at both top and bottom of bed and even had a zero gravity setting for my bad back. I cannot praise this simple platform enough. It makes a big difference in adjusting the bed to just the right comfort level. I have always read in bed before sleep and relied on pillows to keep me propped up. Many nights that would cause pain in my back. You see, believe it or not, I've slept on one form of a waterbed mattress almost all of my adult life. So, even though I'm a big guy 6'5" 300+lbs I'm accustomed to a really soft bed. As I've aged mr arthritis has joined me along with the bad disc in neck and back that most people with the hobbies of my youth can expect as they age. Well, this frame has been a Godsend! The zero gravity setting has in two days released the tension in my back from over working that normally would take a week to recover from! Positions are great! There is only 1 thing I would like to see improved on and that is the noise it makes when returning head to flat position. It makes a pretty loud boom type noise when touches down. Luckily, we hardly ever use that position anyway. The frames themselves are really great!! So many positions to choose from. Had I known a bed could be SO comfortable long ago, I would have purchased this bed base long ago! In fact, when my wife said she wanted to get the Ease with our new mattress, I kind of chuckled at her. I thought she was making us seem a lot older than we are (late 40's) by wanting an "old persons bed"...and I have never been more happy to be wrong! It is perfect for sitting up in bed while watching television and it is made even more comfortable by putting the legs up. It feels like I am being cuddled and it is just so nice. I got extra pillows and a fluffy comforter so now it's like sleeping in a cloud...not quite that soft, but definitely that comfortable! If you are a recliner lover, this bed takes the recliner chair to the next level! Shortly after getting the bed of my dreams, I injured my back really bad. If we had not gotten the Ease base, I would not have been able to get out of bed and I am not exaggerating. I will be honest and say that laying in bed and being raised up so I could get out of bed without straining my back did make me feel old, but I could not have cared less! And being able to rest in the Zero Gravity position was so wonderful because I could release the stress off my back and could rest so comfortably. The Ease was a life saver. I seriously love the Ease and recommend it to everyone. A little note about the age thing I mentioned before...my brother-in-law did tease us about getting an "old persons bed", but we had his wife lay in the bed, and now she wants one too! It also may depend on which direction you are using the remove from example: maybe you need to be sitting or laying on the bed versus I got out of bed and then tried to raise the head up.”

“We purchased a new Tempur-Pedic mattress and selected the Ease 2.0 as the base. We have a an existing bed into which the Ease 2.0 was to be installed. The Ease comes with adjustable legs. The legs come in three "sections" each about 3 inches long. The idea is for the installer to remove one or two sections as necessary to cause the Ease 2.0 base to come in a the correct height for the bed. Our installer did no such thing. They simply installed the full length legs, leaving the bed much too high. We did not realize what they had done until after they left the house and by then it was too late. Or so we thought.... My wife called Brian at the store where we purchased the bed, in Hartsdale, NY about 30 minutes from our home. Brian dropped whatever else we was doing and drove right over, with a partner. Within an hour our bed was adjusted to the perfect height. Thank you Brian!! Service above and beyond the call of duty.”

“I purchased an adjustable queen bed and mattress that was perfect but the bed frame arrived assembled and would not fit through my staircase. I had to have the delivery guys take it back. I had called to make sure it was not an error or if it was company policy to not assemble beds on site but was told they arrive assembled. This is a shame because not all homes are large enough for a queen frame to be walked through them. I saw another retailer that offers a Tempur pedic adjustable bed frame and they stated they assemble on site to ensure the product can be easily installed and maneuvered into smaller spaces. Such a shame as most people looking for adjustable beds are older folks, some with downsized homes. So these products don't reach the full target market potential.”

“To be frank, I did not need all the fancy features that the more expensive adjustable bases offer. In the past, I have never used the massage features. So I just opted for a version that has zero gravity and allows me to adjust the head and foot areas of my bed. My only gripe is that I think the remote is too small. Besides that, the motor operates quietly and smoothly. Moreover, it quickly lifts or lowers the bed to your desired position. The base is not cheap quality. It seems robust and I am quite pleased with the look and feel of all the materials. My recommendation for prospective buyers would be to purchase this adjustable base and take the money that you do not spend on a more expensive adjustable base and put it towards a more expensive mattress.”

I do sometimes flip to my stomach and I have to wake and change to the flat setting or I end up banana shaped. All in all, I am well pleased with the frame. Delivery failure, Had to set up myself & parts were missing.

“I ordered a Split California King Tempurpedic Proadapt firm with Ease 2.0 adjustable bases from a retailer that I am not allowed to name in my review who I will refer to as "S". The delivery folks showed up, saw my stairs & decided to leave my bases in the box on my living room floor rather than take them up & set them up in the bedroom. They claimed they needed 4 men to carry the twinXL bases up the stairs. After they left I took the bases upstairs myself & set them up, but they were missing the California King specific parts box needed to secure the 2 twinXL bases together, so we don't slide between the beds in the middle of the night. After contacting "S" to try to get the parts & possibly get someone to come out & finish assembling the beds & take away the boxes, I was told to contact Tempurpedic for the parts. Tempurpedic said they would file a report with "S" for not fulfilling their responsibilities as a Tempurpedic representative & that "S" would contact me & finish everything. This is where we stand now, 3 weeks after delivery of my bed. "S" has not contacted us, Tempurpedic only contacts us to get a review.... well.. here you go. Epic fail on the customer service side for a bed that I would probably recommend if I could try sleeping on it fully assembled.”

“I have never had a quality bed. They were either a hand-me-down or a discount on sale find. I finally decided that my aches and pains in the morning were from a bad mattress. So, I looked into Tempurpedic and found the financing can't be beat (36mos no interest). I did have to pay extra for shipping, but I live in Hawaii so that is a given. Base is VERY heavy so be sure you have at least 3-4 people to move a king sized bed into place. It set up easily and we were in business. I do want to add another leg "section" to increase the height but that is easy enough. GREAT idea that the legs are each a 3" section that can screw together so people have a choice as to height. My aches and pains don't happen nearly as often nor as severe. Instead of it taking an hour or two in the morning to "straighten up" and feel good, I am either fine when I wake up or only need a moment or two. I sleep through the night instead of awake at the witching hours from 2-4am. Good Stuff! Thank you!”

“The power base is so quiet, it’s wonderful. But I do wish there were side rails holing the beds on the base. There is a railing at the foot of the bed, but the separate beds separate and scoot off the edge of the base sideways! ”
