Smart base is good but too low to floor

“This base is SO nice. You can adjust the bed to whatever you like, whether it be for watching TV, raising your feet up after a long day at work, or Zero G to feel weightless. Zero G mode literally feels like you’re laying on a cloud. I have back problems and hip problems, and this bed has helped reduce both so much. My neck also hurts easily, but that has also went away. My partner snores very loudly, so with our old bed, I never slept very well (even with earplugs). The quiet mode does reduce his snoring by quite a bit. I also like that it lights up so you don’t stub your toe in the middle of the night. And the massage function is a nice addition too. Overall it’s worth the price.”

The Smart Base provides a multitude of comfortable adjustments for sleeping, reading watching television, or just relaxing while it vibrates. I sleep with a CPAP and the slight elevation of the head helps tremendously. Finally, it is very convenient to raise the head and the foot of the bed when changing the sheets. No more having to lift a mattress in order to fit the bottom sheet. Absolutely love the base. ”

Quiet adjustability plus

“I needed an adjustable bed to raise my feet for medical reasons since pillows usually ended up on the floor by morning. We opted for the split king for individual preference and it’s unbelievable how the extremely quiet little adjustments make for a comfortable rest. We can read, watch TV or just relax in the position that is most comfortable. At a local store I crawled under a number of adjustable beds and found the mechanicals of the competitors were inferior to this base. Although this base is an expensive option, the quality build and options make for a sound investment that should last a long time. The remote is exceptional with multiple options to increase comfort levels and help relieve the aches and pains of the daily workload on the body. The low level under base lights are an added feature for any nighttime necessary wake-ups and you can increase lighting with the remote to avoid any obstacles. This smart base is a great option when either of us gets up for any reason we are not disturbing each other. I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone. Base and mattress were delivered by experienced individuals who quickly and efficiently made installation and replacement clean and effortless.

Adjustable Ergo Smart Base has helped my snoring

“I wish I knew 20 years ago that raising my head by 12 degrees would mostly cure my snoring... I mostly snore when sleeping on my back. My wife use to complain and nudge me to change positions to my side. With this new Ergo smart base I can adjust my head position to elevate or have the ergo smart base automatically adjust the head position if it detects snoring. My wife and I are both amazed at how well this works. I have a sleep app that records my sounds/snoring and low and behold my snoring has reduced 95% with the new adjustable base. The Zero G sleeping position is also surprisingly comfortable. I really enjoy the TV viewing position as well. It's really easy to fall asleep in almost any position... The only complaint I have is that the base sometimes loses its WIFI connection once or twice a week and I have to resync the WIFI. Not sure if that's b/c of my WIFI or the Base WIFI receptor...”

We have a split king, so we each can personalize it to our maximum comfort level. My favorites are the TV mode and zero gravity mode which relieves pressure on my joints and puts me to sleep every time. My husband likes that he can create his own presets. I highly recommend it! It made such a difference for me that my sister bought one on my recommendation because she has also been having sleep issues. The smart base came with white glove delivery and free haul away of our old mattress, which saved my husband's back. Just invest in good sleep; you won't be sorry!”

This base helped me so much. I am a medically retired disabled veteran, with back and shoulder injuries.
Took little while to find the right adjustment for me. I do wish there was a numerical reference to your settings. But it’s not terrible.
My wife is 5 months pregnant now and also loves the flexibility when she’s uncomfortable she can just change the position of the bed.

When the base didn’t come but the mattress had I ended up sleeping on the mattress on the floor and it was amazing but I wasn’t sure if I actually needed the base. When the bass did come, I was glad that I got it. It has lumbar support, which is amazing. I don’t really understand the vibration, but other than that it is wonderful and even tracks my sleep. it’s pricey, but worth the money.”

With a mattress that is supposed to be very stable and absorb people bouncing around, not sure if vibration underneath it is all that special. The relief from lower back and neck pain by the various adjustments allowed for support was a huge draw for me and my husband. This is a great product and it fit comfortably within our Thuma bed frame with the highest length for leg attachments installed to sit just above the slat stops. We look forward to enjoying the Tempur-Ergo Smart Base for a long time! ”

“This is our second Temperpedic with an adjustable base. The last one lasted 17 years and was about 1/2 the price back then, but as it was a fabulous product, we purchased it again. The only issue I have is with the "logo lights" at the base of the bed. I'm hoping there's a way to disable those, as everyone knows, lights in the bedroom are not conducive to a good nights sleep! Guess What??? As I was writing this review, I called support and got my answer. Simply hold the "lightbulb" icon on the remote for 3 seconds and it turned off!! Thank you Temperpedic!
