“Ver my comfortable, but NOT easy to find the lever to release and recline. We had to turn it upside down and follow the cord to find a clear plastic lever stuffed in between the side and seat cushion. It also take a pretty strong effort to get the foot to stay locked when you try to get out.”

“I did not like the mechanism that makes the chair recline. I found it very difficult to use plus the foot rest did not lock back in place automatically. I had to get out of the chair (with the foot rest still up) and push hard with my hands to get it locked again.
I also did not appreciate initially being told that I couldn’t return the chair because I purchased the white glove delivery method. What kind of customer satisfaction is that? The decision to return the chair was eventually changed when I complained. I would not recommend this chair for the reasons I stated and will not order from Ashley in the future.”

“I love the color and style. I’d like the back to be higher, though.
The issues I have are with the reclining. You have to pull a cord that is tightly buried between the seat cushion and the arm. And when closing it, you have to slam it with everything you’ve got - and sometimes even that isn’t enough.
When it said manual I thought it was one that you pushed back to recline. And the closing, well I don’t know what to do about that.”
