Unhappy and disappointed customer

“Purchase this set in November 2025. Yes I did sit in the furniture before before I bought it but did not recline (dumb me) but was totally focused on my husband disabilities needs and he seemed happy, however once delivered and in my living room I am very disappointed that when you recline the footrest the whole back reclines with it,,,making you lie back too far, so if you don’t recline as far then your knees are at a bent position, I am a unhappy customer and wished to exchange it out for a different set but i was told that is not a policy of theirs. There is no happy medium to the reclining positions of this furniture, Please do not make the mistake that I made. I paid big money for this set and I am stuck, lesson learned.”

“Love the styling, and the top controls the darker fabric at the foot rest is both stylish and functuonal. I Love how the seat sits, either up or down, seems to be a sturdy well built peace of furniture.
I would like to make a few suggestions however:
1. Make the cup holders a bit larger diameter as they are too small for a high-ball glass
2. Add a third controller to allow to adjust leg rest separately.
3. The fabric is a vary plush fow leather however is does not breath and can feel warm.
4. Technology is moving to USB-C.
5. Wireless charger heats up due to lack of air circulation. Maybe add a small fan in the arm.”

“I want to thank Dee and Armari first for helping me with my purchase, they answered my questions that help me decide what recliner I wanted and demonstrated how some functions work and smiling every step of the way. They made the process very easy to understand and had patients to make sure it would go smoothly, The manager was great also and I would definitely buy there again and make to tell my friends also and if anyone is looking for a place to buy furniture this is the place to do it. I don't have my love seat recline until Saturday so I cannot post any pictures at this time but it does have a phone charger which I love.”

“Never worked correctly since delivery. Because of an Ashley mistake, they thought I had purchased in the store and denied me a return/reselection when I requested they take it back (you get 30 days for online and 0 for in-store purchases). I have been dealing with this broken power loveseat for 8 months now, all while making payments on non-working furniture (the tech has literally caused another issue every time he has touched it). The great customer service they promise you is an AI chat bot that can only send you in a hellish loop. The service tech is spread so thin that when your parts DO finally arrive in 8-12 weeks, it'll take another 2 weeks to get on his schedule (just to repeat the cycle 3X in my case). If you get a human CSR, they're very kind/apologetic, but had no power to help - which means you'll spend hours of your life on the phone waiting for a supervisor that never comes or calls you back. This is absolutely the worst retail experience on a loveseat that is so complex they can't properly service it.”

“The only nice thing about this set is it's modern design and features. They are very uncomfortable and my wife and I regret buying them. Be careful not to make a rash decision like I did and regret it later. If you're purchasing from the Ashley store, take your time to test them. The cushions are uncomfortable but I'm told they may soften over time. The reclining feature is not the best, when the footrest is less than half way up the backrest starts to recline back so you can't just put your feet up and sit straight to watch TV or read a book. Also, the footrest area is short so if you're average height or tall this will not be comfortable for you. The footrest area is also made of three parts that are not equal in thickness/height making it even more uncomfortable for legs.
When we tested them in the Ashley's store we fell in love with the way they looked and all the cool features but we didn't realize how uncomfortable they were until after they were delivered and we sat on them for a few hours. We tried swapping them out in less than 24 hours but Ashley's WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY OR ALLOW EXCHANGES. SALES ARE FINAL! I tried speaking with management at store level and then corporate but I was denied any kind of customer service. Very disappointed with their lack of care. My entire house is furnished with product from their store, this one time I needed their help they did not provided it. I'll be going somewhere else for my future furniture needs.”

“POS!!! I purchased this love seat and within a year it stopped working. Thankfully I purchased an extended warranty. This was back in May of 2025. I’m still waiting on a replacement!!!! Stay away from power furniture!”
