It Broke!

“I like the couch and loveseat but the footrest motor quit in less than a year. We purchased the insurance plan through Ashley, but it has now been 4 months and I still have a broken couch. It took the insurance company (Reguard) 2 1/2 months to get someone to look at at it and I just received the parts 4 months and 1 day after it broke. I was instructed to call Reguard back after I received the part and they will schedule someone to come fix it.
Guess what? wrong part!
I even sent in pictures of the footrest motor including the manufacture part number and serial number.
I am so frustrated right now!”

Excellent addition to Theater/Game Room!

“I spent YEARS looking for a new sofa for my theater/game room, and even though this isn't my usual style, I fell in love with it when I sat in it. (So comfortable, a little firm at first, but I prefer that.) I replaced a sofa, that while very comfortable, was terrible with my two dogs. Their fur clung to it like velcro and their nails snagged on the fabric all the time. I chose this one because of the claims of the DuraPella upholstery, and after about a month of having it in my home, I am extremely happy with it! My dogs' fur doesn't stick at all (I can brush it off with just my hand, or a simple DustBuster can suck up the fur with no special attachments, rollers, or brushes needed) and so far there have been no signs of scratches, snags or any damage from their nails. I recently spilled a drink on it, and it was cleaned up easily with no signs of staining. The zero gravity recline is incredibly comfortable, and the built-in USB chargers in the armrest are awesome for keeping my controllers charged while gaming. So far the only negative I've found is that here in Arizona it can get a little warm (like leather or suede), and one of my dogs is terrified of the motion. She's not used to sofas moving! But overall, I'm very happy with it and looking to add the matching recliner or maybe even the loveseat in the near future to complete my theater/gaming room.”

Comfortable and functional. But get the warranty!

“We wanted a couch that was functional but also looked good and was comfy. This couch fit the bill and was a fair price compared to other stores.
We are both very tall (one of us is 6’4”) and this was the only couch that fit comfortably. Love how you can adjust the head tilt too. We also that the middle seat can flip up or down. So when we have visitors we can easily fold it up for an extra seat!
Unfortunately, after only a few months the electrical aspect completely went out. Luckily, we got the extra warranty. Currently putting a claim in for this issue. I will update this review based on how that goes. I am hoping it’s not a hassle.”

You won’t be disappointed

“I absolutely love this sofa and loveseat! It is extremely comfortable (a little firm, but I prefer that) and the Durapella fabric is surprisingly soft. I’m a 6’4” man and I’ve never fit in a recliner so well. Not only is this sofa comfortable, it looks beautiful in my living room. In my opinion, the biggest game changer with sofa is the power headrest. You can recline all the way until you’re nearly completely flat, and normally I would need a pillow to prop my head up while watching TV, but I no longer need a pillow because the power headrest. I have a 70 pound German Shorthaired Pointer who drools and loves to bring his treats up on the sofa to eat them. Everything wipes up perfectly and the sofa continues to look new. He also scratches things with his nails, and I’m glad to say the Durapella holds up perfectly with no scratches or rips. One thing to note…the sofa and loveseat are not “zero wall recline”. They have to sit about 12-14” away from the wall to be able to fully recline.”

“We bought this couch and love seat about 3 weeks ago it was delivered. The delivery was good. the 2 men that came did a good job setting it up and moving our old furniture out. The only thing I found out is the phone charger did not work for android phones. We were not told that in the store, and the salesman might not have been aware. I will work on iPhone. The plugs do work on the android phones. Other than that, we are pleased so far with our couch and love seat.”

“Took over 5 years to find something and we are not happy with the product. USB charging takes 2x longer ( no info is available for amp output). There are no cup holder sleeve inserts for couch, only loveseat. Cannot sit upright with feet completely up. Only positive is, and time will tell if it is still positive, the fabric is pet friendly/ resistant.”

buyer's remorse...good quality but low comfort

“We've had the couch 3 months and have serious buyers remorse. We wanted a quality dual power reclining sofa and we did get that. It works really well & we love some of the features like the fold down center section and the arm storage. It's very well made and was much higher quality than the other store we had looked at. The charging port and USB port are nice features and work well even though they charge a little slow. The material does seem to wipe up very easy.
The bad part...the way it reclines is bad. In the store it seemed great. But at home not at all. I hate it. As you put your legs up it reclines you back. In order to get my legs like you expect in a recliner you are basically laying down even with the head rest up all the way. I want to sit and have my feet up but that is not possible. So now I have a beautiful couch with multiple bed pillows on it because in order to sit comfortable I have to have a pillow behind me to push me more upright and a pillow under my legs so that I don't have to recline back as far. If I wanted to lay down and watch TV I'd lay in bed. 3 months in the couch isn't even paid for and I'm already trying to figure out when I can afford to get rid of it.”

Found these items at an Ashley store. The seats/cushions were firm and it was easy for her to get up and sit down. Reclining feature helped the pain in her back. As of today, it seems like a great purchase.”

“Buyer beware. If your are going to run on battery instead of plugged into the wall do not purchase. It’s not zero drain. We bought 2 and batteries in BOTH drop 10% per week with zero usage. Customer service is a complete joke. Do not buy these and expect to be happy or have any customer service. You have been warned. Absolutely hate them and will never buy Ashley furniture again due to such horrendous service and massive run around.”

“Got misquoted by $600 at the Sarasota store. Manager was called over and the young man said he couldn’t help us and walked away . Went to Roomstogo, got an identical sofa with upgrade for $300 cheaper, saved $600 over all and had great customer service. Not the service you expect after spending g $10,000 2 weeks earlier. Will probably return that mattress and by it from Roomstogo now !”

It’s super comfortable, stylish, and feels really well made. The only tiny downfall is that I wish it was a little longer, but other than that, it’s absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!”
