Beautiful but cushions do not last!

“I bought the two end pieces to make a sofa, a little over a year ago. The fabric is soft and has held up well. That’s about it. It is only my husband and I and he rarely sits on the couch because we also bought a recliner for him. The seat cushions have not held up. I can feel the bottom when I sit and it feels hard. I have regularly rotated the cushions to no avail. For reference I am ~ 150lbs (not that it should make a difference.) I wanted a deep set sofa that you could just snuggle into.
For the cushion to not even last a year is unacceptable. For decades I have always bought our furniture from Ashley’s and have been satisfied. No more. We also had to return another recliner because the cushion was bulging after a few months. What has happened to quality assurance and testing?
While this couch is beautiful, do not buy it, unless it’s just for show.”
