“Pro: If you're planning to have a platform bed (or already have one), definitely get this foundation to protect your expensive Tempur-Pedic mattress without voiding your warranty. This way, you have more flexibility in choosing any type of platform bed without worrying about mattress compatibility. After a long search, I could not find a platform bed with slats at least 3 inches thick and spaced less than 4 inches apart. Therefore, I opted for the 2" ultra low foundation, which allows me to use it now and switch to my ideal platform bed later — definitely worth it! Con: I ordered a king size and received 2 Twin Long pieces instead. While they are both the same size in total, I received two separate pieces instead of one. It's not a major issue, but it would have been helpful if Tempur-Pedic had clarified early on that ordering a King would entail receiving two Twin Long pieces.”
