“My ridiculously long list of ‘must haves’ had me searching for a new couch for almost two years. I sat on the display for this couch in June 2020 and was geeked ‘cause it checked all but one box on my list. I ordered it the same day and it was finally delivered in Sept. 2020. It’s now been well over two years and, while I still love my couch and do not regret my purchase, it has missed several marks. It’s the perfect little couch for my tiny little living room. I can’t tell you how much I love having the option to move the chaise to one side or the other. Typically I keep the chaise on the left [if you’re sitting on the couch] but move it to the right at christmas to make room for the tree. I’ve moved it a few other times, for one reason or another, but the ability to solve the christmas tree conundrum alone made the whole purchase worthwhile. I guess the color is best described as a “greige” and will lean more beige or more gray depending on the lighting and the colors of items around it. I gave away the included throw pillows cause I hated them and tend to change mine out with the season. I have black and purple pillows with skulls for Halloween, red and black buffalo plaid for christmas, cream and floral for spring, grey cable knit for times in-between, and several other wild designs on throw pillows - none of them look out of place against the fabric on this couch. I pretty much lived on the pullout bed, the entire month of Feb. 2020, while the rona had me sleeping roughly 22 hours a day. Albeit thin, the mattress is made of memory foam and is by far the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever encountered on a sofa bed. In regards to the bed portion my only gripe is the large gap between the mattress and the back of the couch. While this gap is relatively standard with sofa beds, and therefore to be expected, it’s not as easily remedied as the gaps in the couch we had when I was growing up. We always used the actual couch cushions to bridge the gap which also served as a super convenient storage spot. The chaise cushion is sort of the bane of my existence in this particular situation. Turning it on its side and using one square cushion is the only option to span the gap. It’s not only aesthetic torture but leaves you with a square cushion needing to be stored. My biggest complaint/frustration, and one I’ve seen noted in several other reviews, is the weird way the chaise ‘sinks’ in the back. Even in the advertising photos, you can see how much taller the little foot ottoman is than the actual couch itself. You can even see how much the chaise cushion slopes down towards the back of the couch. Although the square cushions slope in this same manner its nowhere near as drastic. As such the square cushions are comfortable to sit on but the chaise is downright uncomfortable and rarely gets used unless I’m gaming. Even then I put a rectangular pillow across the back to make it more comfortable. In one picture I shared you can see how the sloping is caused by the way the bed portion slopes downward in the back. That picture contains measurements I’d taken for a board I was hoping would, after a little clever woodworking, rectify this particular problem. I have yet to find the time to perform the aforementioned woodwork but have also since then had another simpler idea come to mind. The foot ottoman stands half an inch taller than the couch even though all the feet included with the set are 4.5-inches tall. I’ve ordered 4-in tall feet to put on the ottoman in the hopes that this will level out the cushion enough to make it usable. The square cushions started off comfortably firm though they’ve sagged a bit over time. The slight sag is nothing the occasional fluff, flip, and swap won’t remedy. Being the less used cushion for awhile helps them to “square up” a bit. The back cushions also need to be fluffed and plumped a bit every so often as they flatten out a bit with extended use. I give the square and back cushions the old fluff and tickle once or twice a month when I’m vacuuming the couch since I already have it pulled apart to clean every piece thoroughly. The whole routine adds roughly a minute minute to my vacuuming time so it’s not bothersome to me. Noted flaws notwithstanding, overall I’m pleased with my purchase and continue to count it as a wise investment.”

However, within just one year, I noticed that the cushions started sinking and collapsing, which has been really disappointing. I also purchased the extra warranty, hoping it would cover any issues that might arise, but to my surprise, it doesn't cover this kind of problem. I expected better durability and support, especially given the positive reviews I read before buying. The warranty situation is frustrating, as it feels like I paid extra for nothing.
