I have a little trouble hoisting my body back enough in the seat while reclining. I love how far down it relines. If I feel sleepy, I could easily fall asleep in it. I have 4 recliners in my couch & loveseat, but I no longer have the strength to make them recline. I needed the power this one has!”

“My husband has weak legs due to a neurological disease and this chair was just what he needed to be more independent. The chair is very comfortable and the best feature is the independent motors for the footrest and the recline features. Many recliners put the footrest up while the back goes down. Sometimes you want your feet up but sitting mostly upright. That is a wonderful feature in this chair.There was damage on the right wing back but the warranty should take care of the repair.”

“I love the lines and fabric of this recliner. It was purchased it for temporary medical needs and replacement of an older chair. Prior to purchase, I do recall reading the Yandel is described as a big and tall. I'm large but only 5'5" tall. The construction is great for larger individuals (figured roomy is good) my height....not so good. My feet have a hard time touching the floor when sitting but, that's my fault, reclining is great and sleeping even better! I have 2 sons, both 6'5" & 220-270 lbs. This chair is perfect for their size. They loved this chair and the firmness for posture, reclining allowed ample length and comfort. It's been in heavy use for about 4 months & still like new! Don't fret about putting it together, everything has letters or numbers A to A, 3 to 3 and so on, plus an easy to follow diagram. 15 mins. tops. 2 boxes were easy to bring in the house and ship time was great.”

“My husband had difficulty getting out of a standard recliner so we looked for a lift chair, hoping to find one that would fit into our traditional room decor. This one does. Upholstery is nicely textured "pleather" in a slightly mottled black. It has a firm seat so he doesn't sink into a too-soft, deep chair. The lift mechanism is slow and you feel it shift left and right as it engages but it works fine. The chair was missing a side piece when delivered, but Ashley sent a replacement very quickly. We are pleased with the comfortable seating when foot is raised, a definite improvement over our old recliner.”

Good power lift recliner

“So far so good with this chair. After a recent fall I needed an easy to use recliner that I could operate with either hand as well as be able to sleep in while I recuperate. The wired remote allows me to do that. Very comfortable for sleeping. However, during the day, with the footrest extended and the back upright, I can only take an hour or two before my butt says it's time to move. Can't really assess long term durability, but mechanism and fabric seem to be decent quality.”

This has been a lifesaver so far. It’s been almost a week and her pain continues to stay in the 1-3 range. I’m hoping that, with a little more time, she’ll get to zero pain. Also, I am 5-11 tall and my legs hang outside the pad more than what I would like. When reclined the arm rests are not very comfortable (need more padding for the elbows). Not as soft and comfortable as described in some of the reviews. The lift works great.”
