“We like the recliner but experience with Ashley wasn’t good. First went to my local store and was given a lot of information that wasn’t solid about price and shipping and what was available. Sales associate didn’t follow through. Decided to take a chance to order online and Ashely didn’t print the label for shipping correctly so package was delayed a week and a half. If we had not called to correct ourselves we still would not have the chair. They kept pushing the date back and giving a four hour time slot to be available and then chair would never show up. Very inconvenient. Ashley blamed fedex and FedEx blamed Ashley. Very typical. Called customer service to complain and they said all they could offer for our time loss was 25 dollars for our next purchase. Bottom line comfortable chair, good quality, but process was excruciating. Good luck”

It did take over a month to get the chair shipped from the factory to his house which was crazy in my opinion. However when it was delivered by FedEx, at the door, I had a really hard time getting it in the house so next time I will see if there’s any kind of inside delivery. I’m covered with bruises from getting that chair in the house. I’m just glad it’s helping dad!”

This one is built for those people who are under 5'5", and the foot lift part doesn't come up very far, so instead of having your feet lifted, and lay in downward position which of course does NOT reduce swelling. Also the arm are quite short. As much as I paid for this chair, and as much as I paid for the set up, It should be comfortable for someone who is 5'9" to sit in. If I could exchange the chair I would in a heart beat.”

My old chair the footrest came up equal to the chair seat height, where your chair stops short of that mark. I'm still getting use to the difference of my old chair to the Yandel chair, but I would recommend the Yandel Power Lift Recliner. The dual motors is what really sold me, raise your feet or just go back with the head rest... I'm LOVING it.”

The reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is due to the legs not being able to be raised higher; it's almost like they even sit lower than the rest of the body.”

“i am 64 years old, young still to some people, but my health has gone all to hell. type 2 diabetes, insulin shots, 12 different pills and neuropathy in my feet. this chair lifts me up to were i don't have to push myself up to stand up. reclines to however far back you want to go and near recline flat. perfect sleeping condition. comfortable. now some people says be nice if the foot rest would raise a little higher, which would be nice, but it is comfortable, not hard and can be tolerated, back and foot rest raises and lowers separately, which is great. i be 5'11" tall and my feet hang over the foot rest which is not bothersome, not for me anyhow. five year extended warranty is well worth the price. anyway i have feel madly in love with this recliner.”

“This chair doesn't get the feet up high enough to prevent one from sliding downward. It also doesn't help to keep the feet from swelling because the leg rest doesn't go up high enough or the seat doesn't tilt back....only the back rest moves back but the seat stays the same. I have to sleep in my chair because of my health so having the chair leaning forward causes me to slide down during the night. I wonder if it would cause too much stress on the motor if I put a block under the legs to lift the seat up so I'm not sliding out? I do wish it wasn't so slow in lifting and going back down also. I understand why but it would be nice if it were a little bit faster. I do like the chair tho, even with those two problems. They may not be a problem for others, but they are for me.”

Asked if they could help get it where it will be unboxed - very nice. Unboxing wasn't unnecessarily difficult but did take some effort in a small space. The box was beat-up but no damage to the chair at all. Assembly was a cinch - perhaps ten minutes at best. The chair is comfortable and sturdy. Perhaps, just maybe, the standing function could rise a bit higher. The texture of the "faux" pleather is not at all offputting. Everything seems to be well designed and manufactured. My cell phone does not play nice with the supplied charger - apparently incompatible due to insufficient amperage. Not an issue. Overall very happy, especially at the price.”

This chair is comfy, soft in all the right spots but I still feel the firm support i need for the all day use. The seat space (arm to arm) is perfect for me. I’ve had others that were so ‘roomy’ that I could not find my comfy spot. The full recline feels firmly supported. I never felt unstable like i might tilt backwards if I moved wrong. One chair I’ve owned in the past, actually did fall backwards, flipping me out of the chair completely. I had better sleep the first night in this chair, than I have had in I don’t even know how long! My only issue, isn’t even an issue...the chair sits a bit higher than any of my previous chairs, or maybe the others just sat too low. I’ll get used to that. Go try out this chair...I think you’ll fall in love!”

“The chair seems well-made, and the machinery is very quiet. The negatives, however, are several: First, it is not soft enough in the seat...too firm to be comfortable for a person with my wife's problems. Second, the chair tilts fine, but raises itself higher off the floor the more it tilts when doing so, causing one's feet to not be able to touch the floor without sliding off the chair a little first. When in a sitting position, my wife's feet (she is 5'3") start off about 2 inches off the floor, but at full tilt, her feet are at least 5 inches off the floor...not good. The third negative is the control wand. If you stick it in the pocket provided on the side of the chair, the fit is so tight that it activates one or more of the tilting features by pressing in on the buttons. So you have to try to lay it on the arm, where it easily slides off, or provide a TV tray next to the chair to accommodate the control. I bought the chair sight unseen, which was a mistake, and if I had to do it over again, I would pass on this chair. As I stated earlier, the quality seems okay, but the negatives outweigh that for us.”

“Like others who found the footrest too short, I am quite uncomfortable with my legs hanging over the edge. I am a large person, and my calves rest on the footrest, and soon sink through the foam padding to the "bones" (wood or metal base) below, resulting in a fair amount of pain. A back cushion from my sofa, placed on the foot rest helps a good deal. Even though I tried this chair out in the store for about 20 minutes, I should have tried it for 21 minutes. Otherwise, the chair is very satisfactory and I'm pleased. It feels sturdy, looks great, and the mechanisms work well. A good value, if you are not a big human.”

The place were your foot goes is to short
