“I ordered this chair in chocolate but what I received was a grey. The delivery person was cordial enough but he didn't provide the option to turn down delivery. So, I had to contact the store about getting a replacement. I noticed that the chair skew numbers were only 1 digit off so I assume someone made a mistake but I guess Ashley didn't believe me. The chair I received did have the correct skew number but it was NOT chocolate. When I informed Ashley, they simply cancelled my order after they sent another team to pick up the chair. After all of that, they also kept the delivery fee ($87) when they refunded my money.”

“Nicely made recliner definitely worth the money. However, it has the same issue as most recliners if you are 5’ 10” or taller when fully reclined, it will not support your head. You’ll need a neck pillow or something to hold your head up.”

“I bought this small recliner to replace a rocker swivel recliner that I had. My granddaughters used it as a carnival ride every time they were over here! This recliner fits the bill of not moving ! The seat is extremely firm but overall I like it! Hopefully in time it will soften up and save my end table from getting beat up by the swivel recliner I got rid of! It's a small recliner and not of the best quality but it works for me because of the firmness of it.”

A Solid, Smaller Recliner

“We needed 2 smaller sized recliners to fit into a small living room.
It's not because I'm a small person.
I've gone through 2 cheaper recliners from other unnamed sources in less than a year.
My wife is a much smaller person than I am, but the matching chair she had was just uncomfortable and poorly made.
I bought this recliner from Ashley a few months ago, sight unseen, based on it's size and the fact that we've always been very happy with our previous purchases from Ashley.
Eventually, I decided to surprise my wife and order an identical chair for her.
I like that these don't need to be moved out from the wall like the old recliners did.
That's very important in a room the size of ours.
They're also the most comfortable ones I've found that were small enough to fit in the small space, and so far, my recliner is holding up well under my 300lbs.”

“I should've listened to my gut when I couldn't even get an answer calling the store. I should've excluded ASHLEY FURNITURE at that moment. I was told I would be able to schedule my delivery, instead it was scheduled for me. I WASN'T told that one of the 2 chairs I ordered for birthday presents was on backorder until the driver showed up with only 1 chair. He initially said I only ordered 1 chair.
I have made 34 phone calls (yes, I counted) because ASHLEY doesn't call customers even when they promise to, spent numerous HOURS on the phone, & have been in a literal hellscape for 2 weeks try to get accurate information & to have this chair returned. One person told me (a 60 yo woman with a chronic illness) that I would have to move the recli er to my porch for FedEx to pick up. His supervisor said he was wrong. I spent 52 minutes on the phone with him, alone.
Not only will I NEVER purchase anything from ASHLEY, I will DISCOURAGE my friends & family from doing so!!! TERRIBLE COMPANY!!!”
