“This bed was made just for me. It really delivers. I've slept on many other beds and nothing compares to the comfort and rest that I am getting on my Tempur-Pro-Adapt. On other mattresses I always had problems with pressure points, waking up hurting in my hips, neck. I do not have this problem with this bed. It also doesn't compare to conventional memory foam mattresses even though it is made out of special foam. It conforms so nicely to you and doesn't take very long to adjust to. I was worried at first that I wouldn't be able to sleep on a hybrid mattress again. But, you cannot tell that you are sleeping on one. Also, it is so different than a regular memory foam mattress. It's a different experience that you have to feel for yourself. This mattress is great for people who may have arthritis and suffering with alot of aches and pain which I have. I love the adjustable base as well. It really helps with my comfort level. So, I am very happy with my purchase. Also, I don't think I would have purchased this mattress if it wasn't for the sales associate at Mattress Firm. She was most informative and really helped me make the right choice. As far as the cost of this mattress. Yes, it cost more than alot of other mattresses, but I had been looking for the right mattress for a long time and I finally found it. And, that alone is worth the cost to me. In conclusion, I cannot say anything bad about. I am a very happy customer.”

Sent it back and got a hybrid temper-pedic, and "it" is a little to soft for me, however it would be to costly to trade this one in and get a firmer tempur. So although it's an improvement to the serta, that isn't saying much.”

I think this is a perfect choice for people that fall under the same sleep category as me. Pros : Very comfortable, good edge support, great white glove delivery, classic memory foam sinking feel, but easier mobility and bounce due to the hybrid springs. Cons : You never want to leave your bed, probably a bit pricey, my mattress had a pretty strong off gassing oder that lasted for about 2 days. Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase and have been getting good solid sleep. My only regret is not spending the extra money for the lux adapt to get that extra softness I was looking for. ”

This is NOT the level of comfort or support I was promised. Once you sleep on a Tempur Pedic it's hard to switch to anything else. Originally we planned to get the soft version, but after testing out the different models in store we opted for the hybrid. We are both side sleepers and needed a "soft"mattress. For those looking for soft model I recommend testing this hybrid. It is actually very soft yet has the firmness for sitting or laying on the edge. ”

“I was working out of town for three months and slept on a tempurpedic mattress. Slept better than I had in years. Needed a new mattress at home and tried a highly rated bed in a box mattress with a 100 day trial period. At first I did like the bed in a box but then ended up experiencing shoulder pain from sleeping on my side. Fortunately, it was within the trial period so I obtained a full refund. With the ProAdapt Medium Hybrid my shoulder pain is gone and I am sleeping 30 to 60 minutes more a night. It did take a few weeks to break in but I now sleep better than I have in a long time. It cost a little more than twice the price of the bed in a box (and I'm glad I tried it), but it is well worth it. I look forward to going to bed every night and wake up more refreshed than I have in decades.”

It makes me feel stuck in place in the shoulder area and I have been tossing every night and waking with numbness and tingling in my hands. It feels comfortable if I lay on my stomach or back but I am a side sleeper. I thought it would help my shoulder and hip pain but it has not worked for me. It does not align my body, it makes me feel like my head is higher than my shoulders. I called after having it for a week and not sleeping and was told I had to follow the company policy and keep it for 30 days before making a return. While it feels comfortable for the first few minutes, I started developing severe back pain that has only gotten worse over time. At first, I thought the pain might be caused by something else—but during a recent business trip, I noticed the pain completely disappeared while sleeping on a hotel bed. Unfortunately, it returned as soon as I got back home and started using this mattress again. I was genuinely excited to try it, but sadly, I’ve had to initiate a return. I can honestly say these have been some of the worst nights I’ve ever had. Thankfully, the return policy is solid, and the customer support team has been great throughout the process. “I've had scoliosis all my life and I work doing plumbing and electrical. Lots of crawlspaces and heavy lifting. I exercise, stretch, and regularly go to a chiropractor to alleviate pain; but it was never enough until I got a Tempurpedic. After sleeping on this for not even a week, my whole body feels so much better. I'm also getting an extra 2 hours of sleep on average instead of my usual 5. It's quite frankly been life changing so far. I tried out basically every mattress for sale in my area and the Pro Adapt Medium-Hybrid was perfect. I actually look forward to sleeping again. The mattress and the low-profile cloud pillows are both amazing and I'd recommend them to anyone that needs a bed that is soft and supportive. “This mattress is growing on me. The first night, I woke up with a hip ache from sleeping on my side. We've had this king size mattress for about a month now, and it's getting more comfortable as time passes and we break it in. I prefer a plush-type mattress and this is what me and my partner settled on for the both of us. I have sleep issues such as insomnia, tossing and turning, waking up frequently, back problems, etc. I can't say that this mattress has improved any of the issues I have that much. My back does feel a bit better compared to my last mattress. The mattress is comfortable when you are laying down. My partner really likes it, but he doesn't really have any sleep issues. Honestly, I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be with all the hype that Tempur-Pedic mattresses get. But I do think this is probably a great fit for some people out there. Just not sure if I'm that person since it's only been a month of sleeping on it. All in all, I do think I would recommend this to the right person. It is a nice mattress. I tend to start my night on my back and end up on my side, and what I love most about this bed is how comfortable sleeping on your side is. Laying on either side gives me sore hips and shoulders-which I never expected would happen with the coils inside-it feels like laying on a slab of solid foam that doesn’t give enough to transfer away from pressure points. I have a split king and the two sides slide apart to easily always with a big gap between them. They’re too lightweight and should have side guards to keep them in place like they do at the bottom”

To me it seems like it was a conscious decision to create this design flaw in order to sell more products and create more revenue.”
