“Is ok. Not nearly as soft as my last mattress. Sides have no rigidity - can’t sit on or sleep near the edge, for fear of falling right off. Also it is quite hot compared to other mattresses. Never before have I woke up sweating. For reference, we are using the same sheets, quilt, pillows, and room conditions.”

Tried three Pro-Adapts, Back, hip and neck pain on all

“My husband and I have slept on a Tempurpedic mattress for 14 years with no problems. When we decided to go for an adjustable bed we opted for the new Temperpedic ProAdapt. We have a king bed, so we got two twin extra long mattresses. We started off with the hybrid based on the salesman's recommendation. Both were terrible! They were concrete hard and you could feel the springs when the bed was adjusted up on either end. We exercised the 120 sleep guarantee and bought two full foam mattresses--one soft, one medium. We believed the ProAdapt foam mattresses would be like the one we slept on for 14 years.
Neither work for me (wife). The medium is as hard as a rock and shows no sign of softening. The soft is better when I first lay down, but most mornings, I wake up so stiff and sore, I can barely get to of bed. It takes and hour or more to work out the stiffness.
I'm very disappointed in tempurpedic's new line. I'm a loyal customer who spent $5K on mattress and cannot exchange them because we returned the hybrids for the full foam mattresses. I rarely have regrets WRT my purchases. I deeply regret relying on Tempurpedic's reputation when we bought the new mattresses.
Do your research. When I checked consumer report (after the fact), i learned that Tempurpedic's ProAdapt Medium is rated 59/100. The best rated mattress was given an 84. I'm seeing more mattress shopping in my future.”

Tempurpedic Replacement

“I owned a Classic Tempurpedic for 15 years when they only made two styles. It served us well but finally dented to the point that replacement was required. I now sleep alone and weigh 100 pounds so the store’s computerized mattress analysis determined I need the softest mattress. Since I live near the coast, it’s cold most of the year. I wanted a mattress which retains warmth. I’ve had the Soft Adapt Queen for three weeks, and it is softening up and adapting to my body temperature and sleep pattern. It’s light enough for me to lift the corners and attach fitted sheets. I intend to keep it and hope it becomes even better with use. This model is definitely an upgrade from my old one. ”

“We owned a Tempur-Pedic Rhapsody mattress for many years. We were waking up many times thru the night, as our body was hurting. With our new Pro Adapt soft, we are sleeping thru the night and waking up feeling rested. The mattress is firm enough to be supportive, but soft enough to keep our shoulders and hips cradled. I know there are a lot of copy cat memory foam mattresses, but I am a loyal Tempur-Pedic customer. These mattresses hold up the way cheaper mattresses cannot. The only problem is that I can't wait to get back into bed after my day!”

I can finally sleep through the night

“In the last year, we changed our mattress five times and there was always something that was impeding restful sleep. Aft first, we held off on buying a Tempur-Pedic because pricing was over our budget. In hindsight, we should have gotten the mattress sooner. Pressure relief is fantastic and my hips do not hurt in the morning. I stopped tossing and turning during the night and feel rested in the morning.”

“I am not joking when I say I was debating between getting a new car or a new mattress and I have no regrets in choosing the mattress. I opted for the soft after days and days of debating. I didn't want to spend all this money to start sinking in an ultra soft mattress. However, it's not ultra soft, I actually was nervous it was too stiff at first. It is the perfect amount of sink into it while still being super supportive. I actually could not figure out why I was having such a hard time waking up for work even though I wasn't exhausted and it took me a week to realize it was because I was sleeping SO good, I was just literally not used to getting that good of sleep. For reference I am 5 feet tall and 140 pounds. I feel that information is crucial in reading reviews on a mattress I want. I am very glad I did not get the medium.”

“I have been a fan of these beds since they came out. Switched to the Purple premier 3 as I couldn’t afford this one at the time- and my husband isn’t a fan of memory foam. We have a split king so I was able to buy this one FOR MYSELF and I couldn’t be happier. It’s the perfect fit for me, soft and cozy. I wake up well rested and no back pain. Love this bed!”

“My last tempur-pedic lasted 20 years and was wonderful, but did finally get old. So, we bought this one last month and it is even better - so soft and comfy. We both slept better than ever. My husband weighs twice as much as I do, so when he rolls over, on most beds I feel it. With this one I don't. There is no slope when he is in bed either. It has support right up to the edges too. It's taller than the last one, so that took a bit of getting used to, but we have. For us, this is the very best bed possible (and we have tried many).”

We switched our old (still good!) firm Tempurpedic for this softer version. No more shoulder pain! Tempurpedic mattresses have consistently given us our best sleeps. As our bodies change over time, updating the style of mattress we sleep on makes good sense. (Our friends' six-foot, six-inches adult child was delighted to adopt our like-new king-size mattress, and loves it as much as we did. Tempurpedics seemingly 'last forever.')”

It took a couple of weeks for my body to adjust, but that is expected whenever getting a new mattress. “Is taking me a while to "break in" the mattress. I feel sad because after almost three months my mattress still doesn't feel soft and confortable. On the other hand, I was sick on bed for a week, and I never experienced back pain as I have before with other mattresses after being on bed for that long.

Worst mattress I’ve ever owned

“And I have had many over my 65 years and unfortunately I have to wait 30 days to return this horrible mattress. It’s supposed to be soft but it feels very firm and I haven’t had a decent nights sleep since I got it. I wake up in pain several times every night and I requested for them to come check it and they said that I should purchase a topper (Are you kidding) and they would not do anything about it because they don’t guarantee comfort.
This mattress feels nothing like the same exact one I tried in the store. I would not recommend this company or their products to anyone. So If anyone purchases this horrible mattress don’t say you weren’t warned. If you want a mattress look at anything but a Tempur-Pedic !! 3 more days and they get it back :)”

NEW experience

“We have had the ProAdapt Soft mattress for almost 1 month (January-February) and we are still getting used to it. Initially the mattress was hard as a rock. We put an electric blanket on top and increased the thermostat to 72 degrees to help "break it in" and it took 3.5 weeks but it is now "somewhat soft". It appears to get much warmer throughout the night when compared to the memory foam we previously had. ”

Quality bedding once again

“This is our second Tempur-Pedic. Our first we bought about 15 years ago. I was hoping for a little more softness in this new one than it seems to have but after 3 weeks it seems to be getting better. It breathes well and is cooler. Hopefully that will stay the same in the hot weather. I was really happy at how much lighter it is. The old mattress weighed a lot and this one was nothing to move around and lift. It makes making the bed and cleaning much easier. ”

“I’m very happy with this mattress and I slept good on this Temper ProAdapt Soft mattress. This is recommended mattress for the side sleepers after I did the mattress questionnaire. Only bad thing about it is that the frame has huge staple shape metal frame that hold the mattress at the foot end where I lean on to put on socks or pant. It was so uncomfortable to lean on the foot end of the bed. So now I lean on near the corner instead. ”

“My bill of sale shows Tempur-Pedic ProAdapt 2.0 Soft Queen but there was no option for 2.0 ( only 1.0) so wanted to clarify that I registered it as 1.0.
This mattress replaces a Tempurpedic that my husband ( he died in 2009) and I purchased in 2006 from the same salesman ( he was Wonderful!) who sold me this new mattress. That 19 year old mattress was fantastic so I know this new one will be stupendous!! Thank you!”
