My only critique is that if you sit on the edge of the mattress it has no support at all, bending and not supporting weight. For example, putting on my socks in the morning - if I sit on the side of bed the mattress has too much “give” or flexibility- but when I’m sleeping more center of the mattress it’s absolutely perfect. ”

When I met the Adapt Medium, it was love at first sight and after the friendly salesman introduced me to the Ergo Smart Base, the deal was sealed. Sure, there was a little ticket shock at first, but you get what you pay for in this world and the time we spend sleeping is pretty significant, so why not get one of the best beds made? The company sent two young men to take away my old bed and set up the new one. They were in and out like a flash, but not before they showed me how the base works and answered all my questions. It's been a week now since I bought my Adapt mattress and I love it! “Years ago I purchased my first TemperPedic bed and enjoyed the best sleep I've ever had. After 11 years it no longer worked and purchased a spring mattress because I couldn't afford a TemperPedic mattress. It was a very hard transition but I didn't have a choice. During these years I developed degenerative disc disease and was in constant pain so I decided to try TemperPedic again. It ended up being the best think I could do for my lower back. After about 3-4 days my back pain at night is completely gone. I'm a side sleeper and the bed adapts to my body perfectly. Although I still have lower back pain during the day I have the pleasure of knowing a I will have a full night's sleep without any pain whatsoever. Many times I linger in bed in the morning just to enjoy the complete comfort. I purchased the cheaper bed and wonder how great the more costly bed would feel. I'm thankful that I have a TemperPedic bed and that the company makes beds that alleviate can alleviate pain.”

“It has just the right ampunt of firmness for people 170 lbs to 200 lbs. You sink in but not too overwhelming only to have a floating feeling with somewhat support. It is good for all positions , back , side , stomach sleepers. That’s why it was exactly right amount of firmness, you don’t sink in so much but it doesn’t feel as hard surface. The Best for back sleepers. No more back pain and strained feeling. Feels cool but not too cool. I don’t like very cool feeling so no problem for me, some may find it warmer side than Breeze models. Movement isolation is great. Regaining shape after pressure is faster and feels quality memory foam like. Side supports are good but not exceptional but good thing it gets back to shape very quickly and supportive even it sinks from the sides so no worries about falling out from sides. ”

“I love this mattress. I bought it to replace my 20 year old Tempur-pedic mattress after testing a new mattress at a relative's home and realizing mine had lost some comfort over the last 20 years. Even 20 years old, it was still comfortable and I was content with it, but I realized a new mattress would be even better and even more comfortable, so I replaced it with a new one. I love it. I have trouble sleeping, but my sleep difficulties have nothing to do with the mattress. Even laying awake on the mattress for hours is so relaxing, as I feel muscle tension leaving my body, and only the constant insomnia and noise in my head keep me awake. Still, though, I'm physically comfortable as I lay awake. I will never, ever buy a different brand mattress. I may need to replace this one in a decade or two, when I realize that it ,ay have started to be not quite as good as a newer one would be, ”

“The mattress is good. It's pretty comfortable. Im a side sleeper and my shoulders and hips have issues it seems. However, the adjustable base helps some with that. I don't think the "cooling" stuff in the mattress cover does anything, especially after you put a mattress protector and a fitted sheet on top of it. Ours doesn't have much "cooling" stuff and I'm glad as I think paying more for stuff you're hiding under layers of cloth would be a waste of money. It has helped my ankles/achilles-tendons which were previously very stiff in the morning. My lower back is also doing much better with this mattress than my prior mattress. The medium firm is pretty firm still - we've only had it for a short period of time and we keep the room pretty cool - so it stays on the firmer side. My only real negative is, it's expensive!”
