When I return, and climb back into bed, I can feel I'm in an indentation, and if I attempt to move neither direction , I feel like I am trying to move uphill. Tempur Adapt (medium)

“I purchased the pro-adapt (medium) and love it! I wish it wasn’t so expensive so I could have purchased it sooner… but it was worth the wait! I sleep better, get a deeper sleep, don’t wake up tossing and turning to get comfortable. I’ve looked at my Fitbit for sleep patterns & see where my deep sleep & REM are for longer periods! I wake up feeling rested & refreshed! I currently have regular flannel sheets on the mattress which keep sliding up on one side & bulging in the middle besides making me too hot, so I will be purchasing different sheets that actually fit the mattress better. I also purchased the adjustable base (ergo) and love that too! I purchased that 1st while I was paying off the mattress so I used it with my old mattress for about 6-7 months. Since having them both now, I incline the head every night (more than before) to help with my snoring. And now laying flat on a bed feels weird. Adjusting it several degrees feels comfortable but not so inclined you can’t sleep comfortably. I haven’t adjusted it to watch TV in bed, however there is a button to make the adjustment. It also has a vibrator (3 settings) for the back, which I’ve used and enjoy when my back hurts. All in all, both the mattress & adjustable base are definitely worth the money… and as I say, it’s an investment in yourself and quality sleep! ”

“So I must say, when we first got our mattress it was definitely on the more firmer end. My first night sleeping on it I got a little disappointed. My sales rep Zach, told me it would get softer and had a break In period. I was a little worried at first that we bought the wrong mattress, and online there is a lot of mixed reviews about the mattress being “broken in”. I did love the feel of the tempur adapt comfort layer on top. Compared to laying on other tempurpedic mattresses, the adapt had a great feel. Plus it’s cooling which was a bonus. I do sleep hot and I do not with this mattress. So in store the mattress was considerably softer that they had on display. Given our first impressions of the mattress we had delivered was a little disappointing. However about 3 weeks into sleeping on it, I notice a difference in feel and the foam has softened up. Honestly, it’s just the right amount of support, not too soft. It feels closer to what we laid on in store. I’d say it’s a true medium feel and you do sink in just the right amount that it doesn’t feel like you’re in a hole. I don’t wake up sore like I did with my previous spring mattress. My only complaint is that I wish the mattress was a little thicker. It’s 11’’. My husband is about 230lbs, and he does sink more into the mattress, so I’m hoping overtime he continues to get the support he needs. We are more side sleepers than anything and we do get support but it’s most comfortable on our backs. Especially, with my husband being heavier, he doesn’t feel as comfortable on his side like he does his back. After sleeping on the mattress for about 3 weeks, I’ve rolled onto the center of mattress where no one lays to test the difference, and the foam is definitely more responsive and soft! We are happy with our purchase and enjoy our bed much more! It’s a peace of mind knowing it’s a quality and supportive product. No more waking up sore and stiff. Occasional aches, which can be due to just sleeping funny or not the right pillow! We are happy and the mattress will soften a bit over time.”

Backache No More!

“I was really suffering from a sagging mattress and tried all the usual hacks - flipping the mattress, adding memory foam topper, laying pool noodles underneath the top mattress, cutting a piece of plywood to go between the mattress and the boxspring. Alas, nothing worked. My back still ached upon waking up every morning. Getting another coiled spring mattress seemed to be the obvious choice, but the amount I'd have to pay to get something that wouldn't break down after five years was astronomical. Then I saw a sale on tempur-pedic mattresses and started reading the reviews. Everyone raved about how wonderful they were. It seemed too good to be true, but I was desperate. I ordered Adapt and waiting anxiously. It arrived in under a week and the helpful delivery men hauled the old mattress away and laid down the new tempur-pedic. The first time I lay down on it was amazing - It was like being cradled be dense clouds of silence and comfort. I awoke from the deepest sleep I'd had in months. The next night was the same deep, restful sleep. I noticed that I wasn't groaning when I sat up, or wincing when I rolled over to get out of bed. In less than a week my backache was gone. It's been a month and my back is good as new. You can count me in as a new convert to the miraculous world of tempur-pedic mattresses!”

Comfort! My 5 Star Bed

My new bed is a little firmer than my first Tempur-Pedic mattress and I love how it holds me on the bed, not in it. I have tooted about my bed and three of my family members have switched from another name-brand mattress to Tempur-Pedics with an adjustable bed. I few nights in my bed was better than the ads the company placed. The firm Pillows are so supportive. My head is not out of line with my spine. I find I am sleeping all night on my back because I fall asleep within a few minutes with the massager in my Tempur adjustable base. It is very good that my adjustable bed frame worked just fine with my new mattress. It is an Adapt Medium Firm. The one thing I still must do is find a step or block to step on when I am getting into bed. The new Adapt mattress seems to be close to 2 inches thicker than my old one. I am a short woman and in the 7th decade of life, there are just some things that I don't do easily. I've been through catalogs and have not found anything. Next, stop at the hardware store for a block made from short pieces of two-by-four. Then I will soften it with foam and some durable fabric. Tempur-Pedic developers here is an idea for an accessory that would benefit a lot of people who are not tall enough to simply back up to the bed and sit or roll in and people with some impairments that make getting in and out of bed difficult or impossible without a helper. I sleep in a 5-star bed. ”

First I wanted a pillow and went locally and bought a Tempurpedic Cloud pillow. That alone took away my neck and hip pain! Not sure how that works but the pain is gone. Am I still old? Why yes I am BUT the really painful issue I have had for years with my neck and hip on the right side was fixed by the pillow. Then I got my bed setup and just, WOW! “The overall quality of this product has changed our sleep. Before purchasing our Tempur-Pedic mattress we had a memory foam mattress from Amazon that we had for about 5 years and our bodies were hurting waking up in the morning with back pain, neck pain, and constant tossing and turning at night. By changing to a Tempur-Pedic mattress we have noticed within the month that we have had this we have had amazing sleep no more back pain and no more restless nights. I would definitely 100% recommend investing in a Tempur-Pedic mattress that's going to last you more than any other mattress. The comfort level can be chosen depending on if you like firm, medium or soft mattresses. We went with the medium hybrid and it has changed our sleep. We also purchased the ergo Bass to pair with the mattress and it has changed our sleeping experience completely. The zero gravity feature is by far our favorite. When purchasing your tempurpedic mattress I would definitely look into getting the ergo base with it. Yes, the cost is a little higher than we would have liked to spend but the overall quality and comfort that we get with this product knowing that we spend at least 8 hours a night letting our bodies rest is worth it 100%. “A standard Queen is 60” x 80.” The mattress I was delivered was 58” x 78”. The mattress is also not very thick - only about 10” high so my fitted sheets are loose. I went back & forth arguing with customer service & they kept telling me I was measuring wrong in spite of sending several photos & video. They finally said I could exchange it for another tempur-pedic. No thanks. They finally agreed I could return it for a $175 restocking fee but they would not take the base back. I just don’t feel I got what I paid for. I don’t think this mattress was worth the price or the hassle.”

I Slept So Well, I Almost Cried

I was younger then and firm was the right support for me. Now a days, I needed something a little softer. When in the store, I only looked at Temperpedic for my mattress replacement. Even though it was not the most expensive, I loved the feel and comfort of the Adapt 2.0 Medium. I bought the mattress and it was delivered the next day. I slept on it last night for the first time and it was absolutely wonderful. I usually switch from my left side to my right and back all through the night. I don’t remember rolling over once. It was a solid sleep for just under 8 hours and I feel so good about it that I woke up and immediately came online to write this review and tell everyone about the excitement I have for my new Temperpedic Mattress. ”

We have a hump in the centre that makes you unable to stretch out. Both of us are sleeping close to the edge as that seems to be the only place we can get comfortable. My husband actually fell out of bed recently trying to get comfortable. If the cost had been less we would have replaced the mattress by now. We aren't sure what to do about this.”
