“The mattress took a good bit of breaking in as it softened up, but now it is an "honest soft" that you can trust. The only issue is that rolling over on it while sleeping can be difficult because the space where your body is is soft and warm, but then trying to roll over onto a different space is comparatively hard and you have to sort of climb it, sort of uphill, until you're in the new space which eventually warms up and comforts out so to speak. Overall though the consistency of the tempurpedic material is very comfortable, noticeable quality comfort. It gives just the right amount.”

I veered away from the cool one because it had so many saying it was too cold. It probably would be the one for this 64 year old hot lady! ”

“The firm mattress conforms to the contours of your body after about 5 minutes. However, the next time you lie on the mattress you lay over the same impression you left the last few times. After a while, the mattress again conforms to your body. It feels lumpy at first, but the end result is a comfortable mattress and a good night's sleep. Making the bed is difficult. The mattress is exceedingly heavy, and it is difficult to tuck the bottom sheet under the corners. If you do not secure the corners, the fitted sheet will pop up in the middle of the night.”

Second Tempurpedic by choice

“We loved our first one so much that we kept it for more than 20 years....crazy, I know. We decided to try to a different kind of mattress and went with a very top of the line, American-made pillow-top, small company, highly rated brand. It was quite comfortable and we really liked it...it EXCEPT we simply could not get used to the ugly, lumpy look of the sheets over the mattress. The tufts on the mattress surface were so deep that the sheets couldn't lay flat and the blanket couldn't hide the bumpiness either. Visually we just hated the look. So we went back to the sleek look of our trusty Tempurpedic. We love it. It feels "like home." My only minor issue is that, although it's medium for firmness, it feels firmer than I'd expect. I'm told this will ease up over time but it's been 8+ months and I'm not sensing any softening. Maybe it'll take a bit longer. But overall, love this product and its workmanship.”

“I wish I had chosen the softer mattress , the bed creaks when we get in and out of it. I hoped it would eliminate my back ache that I experienced with my old mattress but it has not. Being able to raise the front of the mattress has helped my husband sleep better. I should have done more research before my purchase but I am stuck with this choice. It is hard to find a mattress for both of us as I am 5 Ft and my husband is 5 10, I weigh 110 and he is 185”

“I have mixed feelings about the Adapt Lux Soft & not sure I can’t say yet if I feel it has made a difference in how I sleep. The positive I can give is that it is easier to make the bed as the mattress is easier to lift when putting the sheets on. The negatives so far is that it isn’t as soft as I was hoping for, since it still pushes up on shoulder. I also feel like the edge support isn’t the best. My husband said he notices that he gets warmer. Otherwise he doesn’t have a lot of complaints or positives-as he never had issues with our former mattress. Not sure if time will make a difference or I should have gone with a Cloud. I’d appreciate any suggestions you might have. ”

“We Purchased the Luxe Adapt Hybrid Medium Mattress. We are not happy with this purchase. I am waking up every morning with lower back pain and my husband wakes up with hip pain. We are both side sleepers. I feel it's not keeping my spine in alignment. My husband says there is pressure on his hip all night, so we are waking up frequently to change positions. We are not sleeping well and have to deal with pain every morning. We are definitely going to do a reselect for a different mattress. At this price point that we spent for this mattress we should be comfortable, sleeping well and waking up without pain. This mattress is obviously not for everyone”
