From LuxeAdapt Firm to LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid

“My wife and I originally purchased a LuxeAdapt Firm. It provides unprecedented support and once in bed, we didn’t move at all. It was a great mattress but too firm for us.
We then swapped for a LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid, which is perfect for us. It provides the support I need coupled with the comfort my wife prefers. It was a great comprise. When comparing the two mattresses, we found that the LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid meets are sleeping style (back, left side, and right side) better.
Both mattresses are great and I would highly recommend a Tempur-Pedic mattress. The only decision you need to make, is which one is best for you. ”

“I had this mattress for 80 days and it was so painful. I would wake up with a sore back and hips each morning. I followed all the advice for breaking in this mattress and it made no difference. I am still doing physical therapy to try and undo the harm to my back and hips. The description says it is cooling but that is not true. I would wake up in the middle of the night because it was too hot. I also bought 2 expensive Tempur-Pedic pillows thinking this would help, but turned out to be a waste of money. They are very heavy and don't provide any cooling benefit. I found another mattress brand that is much more comfortable, provides the needed support for my back and hips and is cooling.”

It is now so soft, it gives me no support. I have to sleep on a different bed ( an older Tempurpedic model) after spending a lot of money just three years ago. Tempurpedic won't replace it either. I have lost confidence in this company.”

“My partner and I both love this mattress. For my approx 200lb partner, it is medium-firm with some comfortable give. For me at approx 125lb, it's pretty firm and I hardly sink in at all, but I'm still very happy with it because it relieved some of my chronic neck and back pain within a few nights. No more pain and much better sleep for both of us!
The mattress is also a comfortable temperature, I sleep cold while my partner sleeps warm and it works for both of us. Great motion absorption. I used to always wake up to my partner moving but only sometimes now. ”

“We previously owned a TempurPedic (queen/firm) for 14 years-I am on the heavy side (275 pounds) and my side of the mattress developed a pocket several years ago so we decided to get another mattress. Contrary to my ideals, we succumbed to the sales lady to purchase the medium hybrid which she said would be cooler but not as firm--I don't think so-I feel hot all the time and it's too soft for me. I don't think the pillows purchased at the same time are any "cooler" than what we had either. I feel I'm going to roll off the edge of the bed all the time. My wife thinks what we have is OK (she likes the head lift too which I don't). Bottom line, I liked my firm mattress much better than this one!!”

Got the level base but any base should work and can get similar, now that I see it, for a cheaper price. The mattress is well made and very heavy. I removed tag before set up so I now have easy access to serial number. Goal is better sleep and help with lower back pain.”

“We ended up with the hybrid luxe adapt after exchanging the firm (which was too firm). Unfortunately there is no medium without springs in this model and we found the soft to be too marshmallow- like. I find the hybrid comfortable enough but miss the feeling of a fully memory foam tempurpedic. It’s essentially a spring mattress with less than 5 inches of memory foam on top. Comfortable enough but not ideal”

“This was a huge financial investment for me but I have not been disappointed. I wake up with zero soreness from pressure points of a mattress, either from laying on my sides or back. It was a strange way to wake up when you’re used to the daily pains of a poor mattress. It took a couple of nights for the mattress to relax and really give into my form. The pillow is a must, don’t skimp on it, spend the money. I was disapponted with Tempur-Pedic as it took much longer to receive and communication was slow. However I am extremely happy with the product. ”

suffer with back issues. I must say our first night with our new mattress was nothing short of a miracle, the tossing and turning had stopped completely for all the pain we experienced due to pressure points caused by from our old mattress were now gone. It was hard to believe that something as simple as a mattress could make such a dramatic difference in our sleep quality. We are now Tempur-Pedic owners for life and would Highly recommend their mattresses everyone. Most people spend 5 x that amount a day on coffee, so I figure a good night of sleep on an expensive mattress is well worth it. We are fortunate to have a flagship store in my city, so I decided to go and evaluate which one would be best for me. I decided on the 13" California King LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid. Couldn't be happier. Just like the last one before it wore out, one night of sleep and my back pain was no more. Amazing! Looking forward to many years of comfort. Too much foam

“When we went to the mattress store we tested the mattresses and it felt comfortable. However, when we slept on it the first night, we noticed that it did not give very much support. I felt as if I was sleeping in a hole, unfortunately that has not changed. The firm just felt too hard, so we didn't get it (wish we had of). Be very careful when you are selecting a new mattress. This one makes my back hurt, but in all fairness it could depend on the person.”

Needed a Minute to Love

“When we first got this bed, I thought that it was way too firm. It took about a week for me to change my mind. Now I feel like the bed is the perfect true medium with support. I had a cloud supreme for over 15 years before needing to upgrade and that bed slept a little warm. I have not been warm in this bed. It is exactly what I was looking for which is soft give to the top with support in the bottom. My husband seems to like a firmer bed and I like a softer one, but we are both happy with this one. I have no problem turning over or getting out of this bed. I like the removable cover on it as well and even though no one will see it, the cover has a slight shimmer woven into the material and just looks great too! ”

“We bought our first tempur-pedic over 16 years ago. We decided to get another newer model with an adjustable base this time. We have the older one your grandson. The adjustable base is heaven and so is the mattress. My wife and I are both in our mid 50’s and we love the comfort, support and rest we get with Tempur-pedic mattress. It does take 30 to 45 days to break it in. I know that sounds crazy but it is true. Give yourself at least that long to break it in and then you to will be dreaming all night long.

Still Deciding

“We have had the Tempur-LuxeAdapt Medium Hybrid for only a month. At this point we are really liking the head and feet in a zero gravity position. We do change this position after relaxing to a position on the bed that is doable for sleeping. We feel comfortable most of the night, waking up without a lot of the pain that used to be there in our lower back and neck. The only complaint about this bed is that if you are a hot sleeper, you will definitely be hot, this mattress definitely holds the heat in. We have the cooling sheets, they really don't cool. We have tried a cooling mattress pad, still doesn't work. At this point, we are not sure if we will exchange this mattress in for a mattress that may not be as hot. ”
