Not what I expected, but comfortable

“Not exactly what I expected, it states it’s 13”, but only measures 12. The cooling cover texture is not comfortable so we needed to put a mattress pad on it, which defeats the cooling ability.
Not what I expected for the price. ”

Not enough support

“The Tempur-Luxe Breeze is my 4th Tempurpedic bed. It is also my least favorite. I love the cooling feature and the support was great at first. 8 months after purchase, the bed is breaking down. So far, it isn't visible enough to be covered under the warranty. When I lie down on the bed, it sinks. I am sure it will be visible without pressure at some point, but I wake up in pain so I won't wait it out. Very disappointing. I'm an experienced Tempurpedic owner and this is not the normal break in adjustment. I splurged on the extremely high price because I've always been so happy in the past. If you want support, this is not a good choice.”

Great quality, but!

“Pro: sleep better, build quality is top notch.
Con: cannot feel the cooling when I have the bed protector on, and sheets, bed slides on flat surface.
If I could go back, I would probably go with a regular tempurpedic, and get the cooling bed protector instead of getting the bed with it. I could feel the cooling without the protector and sheets in the store, but not once I got these on.”

It is worth the wait but don't sleep to close to the edges

“So when you first get it the mattress is firmer than expected. So I slept on top of a comforter and blanket to make it softer when I slept, after about a month I noticed it still wasn't broken in yet. I then remembered the sales guy mentioned that the material is heat activated and realized that my blanket and comforter was blocking out the heat. so I removed them and I now notice that the mattress is soft when I lay on it and comfortable. All my previous mattress were coil spring mattresses, I noticed that on those after a while the coils don't spring back as much as expected and it starts to sag making them uncomfortable, however the bounce when you jump on them. Because of the sagging I will not buy a coil spring mattress again. The tempur pedic luxbreeze soft does not bounce when you jump on it as it behaves more like a non-nutonian fluid, getting soft after a few seconds of laying on it. when laying on the mattress it provides no edge support so be careful not to fall off, which I have not done yet. I bought this mattress on Halloween and got it about 2 weeks later so I have had it about 3 weeks, so it is really too early to tell about reliability, but I love it so far, it is not too hot nor is it too cool. I actually spend most of my day fantasying about getting in my bed and trying to sleep. I think it is expensive but worth it, so far, but we will see in 3 years (about how long my previous hybrid mattress lasted).”

Love the Temp / Dislike the Firmness

Extremely comfortable but cooling isn't great

“The mattress itself is extremely comfortable and we are very pleased with the purchase. But temper your expectations with respect to the cooling technology. The cooling gel cover seems to work for the first hour or so but doesn't seem to dissipate body heat from a hot sleeper through the night. Because the mattress is designed to be slept on without a mattress pad or mattress protector (to maximize gel cooling tech), I wish the mattress top was a solid color; you can see the mattress top design/colors through the fitted sheet.”

Not Soft...Very Firm

“It was an upgrade from a previous Tempur Cloud Luxe purchased in 2013. We loved our Cloud Luxe, but upgraded from a queen to a king. LUXEbreeze Soft was not soft at all, and actually very firm. We tried it for 3 weeks and followed all the recommendations to"break it in," but to no avail. Today we swapped it for a LuxAdapt Soft, and are very pleased with the "softness" so far.”

“The mattress is very comfortable and soft yet, supportive. It is very cool when you first get into bed, but it definitely warms up as the night goes on. I originally had purchased the LuxeAdapt firm, and it was very supportive, but way too hot! And hard to sleep on the side, needed something softer and cooler, so I went with this model. I still am getting used to it. It does have a break in period. What I absolutely love is the Ergo Extend adjustable frame. Go with the base!”

Sleepless heat

“We purchased this mattress in hopes it would be better than our last. This product that is advertised to keep you cooler at night, specifically up to 8 degrees cooler, it actually does the opposite. This mattress traps in body heat heavily, causing uncomfortable and sweaty nights of sleep. No matter what we do, the bed stays hot and the heat lingers for up to 4 hours after getting out of the bed. The bed is nice and soft, but I would not call it a Luxebreeze mattress.”

“At first I wasn’t a real fan of the price, but they gave us a sectional and 3 piece coffee table set free with it. So that helped. I got it for my pregnant gf, ever since we got it we both sleep better. I have no back pain. We use the adjustable bottom every night and use the massage button multiple times before bed. Was a great investment”

“For the last 1+ year, I have been dealing with issues from having 2 discs go out in my lower back. With my other mattress, I couldn't ever get comfortable, sleep, or even get OUT of bed! I bought this mattress a few months ago, and man.....let me tell you! It has helped SO much! It takes the pressure off of my hips and back! I still get pain, but it is only when my feet hit the floor, to start my day! This mattress has seriously saved me. I never thought I would pay that much for a bed, but I do NOT regret it! I never want another mattress. Because of this purchase, I will never buy another brand or style of mattress again! Now, if someone could keep my kids out of my bed...... :)”

“Have only had mattress and adjustable bed for a week and so far so good. Mattress is comfortable and cooler than previous one we had. Only thing is when mattress elevated sheets bunch up, using sheet straps doesn't help and would rub against the frame. Also there doesn't seem to be away to secure electrical box and wires off the floor from adjustable frame. Despite these issues, definitely sleeping better.”
