“I bitterly regret purchasing this mattress. Starting the very first night, it felt like sleeping on a slab of concrete. Nothing like what I had experienced in the showroom. I was told to give it time "you need at least 3 months to break it". Now it has been 4 months and there is barely any change. I wake up multiple times at night, and in the morning my back is sore. I didn't have a *single* good night on this and now I am stuck with no possibility to return. A complete waste.”

“I love the Tempur-Pedic mattresses, and this is my 2nd mattress. I did my homework and went to a furniture store and laid on each mattress and firmness levels and decided that the medium hybrid would be the best choice.
I don't know what the difference was from the mattress in the store and the mattress I had delivered, but the medium hybrid is Horrible!!!! I figured, it's new, it needs time to break in, so I gave it 2.5 months and I still hate it.
First, it's so hard it almost feels like I have an extra heavy duty firm mattress. There is no sinking into this mattress, I lay on it and it feels like I'm on a slab of cement. 2nd, I got the Pro-Breeze because you're supposed to sleep cooler - I don't. I still get extremely hot and have to kick all the covers off.
I'm so sad, because I really needed a comfortable mattress for my messed up back and this is making my back even worse.
I'm still within my return/exchange range so it'll probably be going back, or I'll switch to a softer mattress.”

“In one of the local stores I was able to lay on a Tempur Pedic computerized unit to determine which firmness level is right for my body and sleep style. The medium firmness choice was definitely the right one. Also, I choose the hybrid due to springs providing some stability on the edges which helps with getting in and out of the bed. “My husband and I have been talking about getting a new mattress for months now. If you don't want to commit without laying down on it, go to a mattress store that has this mattress and go try it out! It forms to your body nicely and the cooling effect is *chef's kiss*. The ONLY downside is the factory smell that lingers after delivery.
Speaking of delivery, the white glove delivery is amazing! The gentlemen that came over were very kind, professional, and took their shoes off at the door (asian household)! It took them maybe a total of 15 minutes to get the new mattress in, the old one out, and have the trash cleared.
Side note: It took my body about 2-3 nights to fall in love and for my husband, it was about 2-3 weeks.”

Advice for a new buyer--have the delivery people help you take a photo of your mattress tag. You will need it for your warranty. I put all the sheets and covers on, and had to take them all off and lift the mattress to get the serial number. Difficult even for two people!”

Only wish that there was a soft better option, as the soft option in the luxe breeze is WAY more expensive. Overall the best bed I've ever slept in, definitely helped with the night sweats.
The break in period is also a lot longer than expected, when we first got the bed it was almost like sleeping on a rock! But it feels MUCH better now and overall we're satisfied with our purchase.
Definitely recommend the mattress protector as well, fits perfectly on the bed and does a good job of protecting it.”

“Both my wife and I have low back issues which have been eased significantly by our Tempur- ProBreeze Queen mattress. With any mattress there is a short period of adaptation by ones own body to the new unit and this is no exception. It only took a week for our bodies to adapt and since it has been fantastic. The support we get from the ProBreeze and the cooling cover has made it so we both get the best sleep we have gotten in decades. We dont wake up stiff anymore. This is a medium firm mattress so you dont sink into it but feel a gentle support for your entire body. We love it!”

“We ordered the mattress and bed frame in May. It took us a while to realize that we were sent the wrong mattress. During the delivery process the drivers brought the mattress to the second floor and scraped the entire wall. After revisiting the store and speaking to a sales lady, she told us we would have the correct mattress delivered within a week. When the mattress was delivered 25 days later, the mattress didn't look right. It was dirty and stained and when I spoke to the delivery drivers they told me that they do in fact send out used mattresses sometime. When I spoke to the sales manager about it he denied that they do. Why would the drivers lie to me about that? I sent in photos of the mattress and they agreed to send out a new mattress ASAP. Little did I know if would take over 45 days to get a new mattress. The entire process has been a nightmare from the store to the deliver team.”

“The TEMPUR-ProBreeze Medium Hybrid we recently bought is the best mattress we've ever owned. It replaced our old Tempurpedic mattress that was beginning to soften after 13 years of good sleep. I was having more difficulty changing position in the old mattress because it was getting softer, but the TEMPUR-ProBreeze Medium Hybrid's coil layer provides the right amount of pushback to help me get out of bed easily after a great night's sleep. We also bought an ERGO base to go with the new mattress, and the result is that we sleep better than ever before. The investment in our new bed has been worth every penny.”

“Old bed: Tempur-Pedic Cloud (bought about 15y ago with the back then 25y warranty) Rating: 5 Stars.
New bed: Tempur-Pedic Breeze hybrid Medium = 2 Stars and maybe 1. We have had it for 3 months. Initially when we got it home we felt that it was too stiff and my wife and I had shoulder pain every morning. We are side sleepers. I weigh 175lbs and my wife much less. We went back to the store and they said it would break in and give it a chance. Now 3 months into it, we continue having bilateral shoulder pain. We are almost at the end of the "trial" period and ultimately we will most likely take it back. Just not sure if we will go with the same line but "soft" or just another brand entirely. Very frustrated and disappointed. Also the warranty is no longer 25y, it's 10y now. Just as a note, we are pretty picky and after we were having problems with our mattress, we returned to the store 5 additional times to try other ones made by Tempur-Pedic.”

In March, I started having hip and shoulder pain. I toss and turn at night and am unable to get comfortable because the mattress is so firm. I contacted Mattress Firm to see if we could return/exchange but we were outside the return window. We are very frustrated that we spent $8000 and are not getting a restful night of sleep and having joint pain.”

Due to health issue, I still get hot at night no matter what. Mattress is cool to touch wherever you aren't touching. I don't particularly care for the mattress cover that was recommended as it is slippery, and sheets move around on it. The mattress is supportive and comfortable, and my back ache went away as did my husband's.”
