“I will say that it does make the mattress cooler, but the cooling cover is noisy and kind of crunches when you move on it. I would think that is coming from what material has been added to the cover to produce the cooling. I am trading mine in for one that does not have the cooling so that it is quieter when I sleep. That and I really don't see any value in a cooling mattress.”

“I went to tempurpedic regional store in Manhattan Beach, Ca with a specific bed in mind for its features and special pricing at the time. I was helped in the process by the manager Richard Negrete who demonstrated the product and it was great. He mentioned upgrade features but was not persistent when we knew what we wanted. However, he did have us try the pillow of choice and I had to agree it felt great for neck support as side sleeper. We also took advantage of a special offer for buying the bed with the sheets that promote the "cooling" effect of the mattress.
These products are heavy because of foam construction so the service carried on right out to our car assisted by Shawn which was very nice of him and he is enthusiastic about his new job there. He should do fine as he has a great temperament dealing with the public.
All this is before I have even taken delivery on the product I am sure will be great and I can review again but I wanted to emphasize the service at this location.”

We went to the store and talked with a salesman, he indicated it may take some time for the mattress to "break in". Suggested "walking on it" to help! Junk with Potential

“This could be a great mattress but sadly, it isn't. By way of background, we were looking for pain relief caused from a 5+ year old traditional mattress that was likely just worn out. We bought a Tempur pedic "traditional" mattress first and opted for a firm. We bought our daughter the medium firmness at the same time. Over $6k in mattresses!!! It pains me to see we spent that much, especially as the story continues.
We made a mistake with the firm mattress. Mattress Firm was AWESOME with the return where we "upgraded" to the medium firmness, Breeze series. Felt ok, not great, for the first couple of weeks and we hoped the hybrid construction would begin to break down and give some forgiveness over the next few months. It has not.
We now wake up in the middle of the night with joint pain caused from pressure associated with being side sleepers. The mattress has a slight center dip you can feel as you get toward the edge. Worst of all, we are 6 months in and have a >$3k mattress I just moved to the basement and brought a spare conventional mattress up to sleep on.
Be certain this is right for you before committing your resources. The window for comfort is narrow, but your check clears quickly.”

“We have already started the 90 day return with our sales associate and will be returning this mattress and replacing with another Tempur-Pedic mattress. A. We did not notice the cooling effect. B. It was not comfortable and could feel all of the indentions on the mattress under the sheets. We had Temper pedic sheets, we tried using our old sheets to see if that was the issue, but still wasn't as conforming and comfortable as our last bed. We did go back to the store on Saturday and have picked out a new Luxe Adapt Firm mattress instead as it was more like our old one that we were used too.”

Don't waste your money

“We purchased this mattress 1.5 years ago. We can no longer sleep in this bed without intense pain. This mattress is junk. We filed a claim with the warranty company and were denied any replacement or repairs for our mattress. What good is a 10 year warranty? If the mattress is not literally falling apart Tempur Pedic isn't going to do anything. Be advised the salesman told us that the mattress takes at least 6 months to be broken in. If you wait 6 months, it voids the initial warranty to return the mattress. We will never purchase another Tempur-Pedic mattress. They were happy to take our money, but they certainly do not stand behind their product and customers DO NOT matter. This was our second Tempur-Pedic our first Tempur-Pedic was great. Therefore we were confident that we would get another quality mattress. We were terribly wrong. So I will repeat myself, DO NOT waste your money.”

“It took a couple of weeks for the odor to dissipate. The chemical odor was really bad. My wife was in the hospital for by pass surgery for ten days, so most of the odor was gone before she started sleeping on the bed. She loves the bed. The lifting mechanism is so quiet that it does not disturb the other sleeper.
I have slept in a recliner for years and this is the first time I have been able to sleep comfortably in a bed for a long time. It took me a couple of nights to find the right settings for my back trouble, but I am pleased with the outcome. We have the split mattress so we are each able to find own comfort setting.”

Free! deal and if the Astros win it all, we get a free bed, but honestly, it is worth the investment and yes, we are now rooting for the Astros to win the World Series. This from a Yankees fan :-)! Hi-tech base was also a pleasant surprise as it has a lot of bells & whistles and e-mails me in the morning how I slept. Infinite number of positions to make it comfortable for you and we could not be happier with this bed - it's a real game-=changer as far as our health goes.”

W/in 2yrs bed has permanent indentions on both sides of bed

“This is the biggest purchase regret. When you pay almost $5k for a bed expecting it to last 10yrs according to the sales pitch. We've had the bed less than two years and its miserable to sleep on. We put in a warranty claim to see if we could get it replaced or replaced with something else and unfortunately the indentions have to be 3/4 inch or greater to get approve so we were denied. When we roll from side to side it is like trying to roll uphill. The bed is now mushy and not firm like when we first got it. It also runs hot and feels moist(its not but thats what it feels like). It is a very uncomfortable bed. For someone like me with neck and back issues from surgeries this does not work well. I was hesitant to buy a Tempurpedic bed as I like a more firm bed but when I was explained that this is a hybrid and it is supposed to maintain its firmness and last 10yrs I figured Id try it especially if it has a 10yr warranty. Dont let that fool you! They dont stand by their sales and claims. I will never buy a tempurpedic again. The amount of money paid for a bed that looses its viability within a couple years is ridiculous.”

Way too firm for a side sleeper

“I'm a 170lb mostly side sleeper. I debated between the Luxebreeze soft and the Probreeze Medium Hybrid. I layed on them both a bunch at several different stores and thought the Probreeze medium felt soft enough compared to the Luxebreeze soft, where I definitely sunk down into it like I pictured a Tempurpedic would be, not to mention being $1k cheaper. I was concerned that the Soft would be too soft. I've been sleeping on my Probreeze Medium Hybrid for over a month now and I can't say I feel like it's really softened much and there seems to be definite pressure on my shoulders when I'm sleeping on my side. I may have to swap it out for the Luxebreeze soft.”

“We purchased both a ProBreeze Medium Hybrid King and a LuxeBreeze Soft Queen. We love them both. These two mattresses are very close on the firmness scale. I recommend you spend a bit of time laying in each before deciding. It is difficult for me to tell much of a difference. I am a large, heavy set man that sleeps on my side. Both mattresses give me a great night sleep.
There is a noticeable difference in the cooling ability throughout the night. Both work well. However, the LuxeBreeze is obviously cooler.
I can recommend that you get both the Tempur-Pedic mattress protector and the Tempur-Pedic bed sheets. These fit the bed perfectly. We used our original bed sheets while waiting for the Tempur-Pedic bed sheets to arrive. I will never buy a non-Tempur-Pedic set of bedsheets again.
We are very happy with our investment.”

“I have had my PROBreeze Medium Hybrid (Queen size with adjustable base) for a little over 3 weeks now. Although I am not sleeping perfectly every night (but mostly and still adjusting), I can honestly say it has improved by back tremendously and I'm a side sleeper - no pain when I wake up. I can also say that on my previous mattress I would sweat (soak my t-shirt) several times a week. On this mattress my body so far stays 100% cool and wake up completely dry. PS, I highly recommend you get a TEMPUR-Pedic Cloud Pillow - it will add a better night sleep and enjoy mine!”

“Sleep in the last 10 years has been a challenge..When I woke up, I either had a sore neck or back and I was sick of tossing and turning. My husband's snoring had become progressively worse, despite everything I have tried....I was tired of always being sleep-deprived and cranky!
The first night in our new bed was so quiet, I was worried that either my husband couldn't fall asleep or something bad had happened! The best part is that the quiet has lasted!!!
I am no longer tossing and turning and my fitness watch is telling me that my sleep patterns have gone from poor to excellent!

“I bought this mattress from a "mattress store" with help from a sales person. Guess the person just wanted a higher dollar sale and not interested in anything else. This mattress is so hard and not really "cooling" either. I wake up all night and have yet to have a full nights sleep in the year I've had this mattress. (Have even put a gel topper and a padded topper on it). It makes my hips and shoulders hurt constantly. I contacted Tempur Pedic and they suggested that I walk and jump on the mattress to see if that helped. I do not have this kind of money to just waste and that suggestion was ridiculous. But considering how much I HATE this mattress I will be spending more money because I need a mattress I can actually sleep on. I am totally disappointed with the store I purchased this mattress from and the Tempur company.
So they want you to include how this product has changed your life, well it has made sleep nearly impossible and my quality of life includes pain related to the firmness of this mattress and lack of sleep………”

Almost 2 year in and the cover has pilled unbelievably

“Nobody wants to be less than 2 years into a mattress and have to replace it but the top cover for this (without washing it) has pilled so badly it's borderline lumpy and feels/looks like it's falling apart.
A good amount of cooling is gone, though some does remain. It stays cool for about 1-2 hours after laying down on it and then is fairly warm where my wife kicks off her extra blanket every night.
All in all I just am not a fan of how this mattress has held up.”

Wears out fast, don't recommend for back issues or sciatica

“We first got the king luxe adapt soft and it was too soft. So due to covid it took awhile but we were able to switch out to pro breeze medium king mattress. It was ok at first a little more firm than the first one we got but it was hot and not like a normal mattress. Then within just a few months of sleeping on it the semi firmness it had is gone. He has now been out of work with back issues and sciatica for over 2 weeks. I think this mattress exacerbated the issues he already had. I also have sciatica but it's never really bothered me that much until recently sleeping on this mattress. Seems like it has been worn out in only 6 months. He has been laying in the middle of the bed the past few nights where it seems to feel more firm and now I have to sleep in the recliner. We've tried adjusting the base several different ways and it does not help. They are more firm feeling when you first get it but over a few months time they wear out or at least this one has. We got it in June 2020 so a little over 6 months we have a mattress that we can not get any restful sleep. It's very upsetting to know we paid big money for this bed and base and it sleeps so bad. There are no indentions when you aren't laying on it so there is no way to get a replacement mattress. I really wish Tempur pedic would switch out to the firmest mattress they make but the store told us months ago they only do one trade so the one we chose we would have to keep. Little did we know it would sleep like this. It is also hot so unless cool natured I don't recommend this bed. Doesn't stay cool like it feels to the touch. We are tired and want good sleep and this is much worse than the regular pillow top mattress we had for many years. We now wish we would have just kept it as a spare so we could sleep on it now. Maybe the one we have is defective I don't know. We got this because it was medium firm but it should be listed as soft. Please Tempur Pedic get us a different type of mattress so we can sleep :(”

However, in my effort to make the switch from split King to regular King, I have encountered exceptionally poor customer service at the corporate level, not the store level and sales person level. They have been great. But their hands are tied due to operational deficiencies at the corporate level. By the time I get the replacement mattress, at least two months will have elapsed since I requested the change. It may end up being longer.”

“We changed from a Tempur-Pedic Grand king mattress to a split king. One mattress is Tempur-pro breeze medium the other the Tempur-luxe breeze firm. The delivery crew was awesome and able reprogram the bed frames to work independently. After 20 nights, my wife loves the luxe breeze. I do not care for the pro breeze. To me it's not very comfortable, and after a full night you can feel the springs in your back. Returning it for a luxbreezee firm. The dealer has been very nice and helpful in this regard.”

“It took exactly 24 hours to realize how much I hated this thing. My first night I managed to snag about 2 hours sleep on the queen hybrid medium breeze mattress. The second night wasn't much better. It felt so good in the store during the 20 to 30 demo. There is a chasm of difference between 1/2 in the store and 8 hours at home. I compare the experience to the first time you heard a CD, remember how clear it sounded. It sounded so crisp, clean, and clear that it quickly became annoying. This bed is the same in the respect it is so balanced it's annoying after a few hours. Unfortunately, I can't get past the annoying part. I'm 73 and it looks as if I'll get to hate this bed the rest of my natural life.”

It doesn't feel supportive for larger sized people. Like I said, somehow both too soft and too firm at the same time. It also is hotter than I expected.
We got the split king adjustable, but often end up on the base model Serta queen mattress in our guest room.
We both have back pain now, and neither did before. Save yourself the money and look elsewhere is what I suggest.”

“After paying thousands of dollars three years ago for a pro breeze, hybrid dual king with adjustable base, I wish I wouldn't have bought it. I wish I would've taken it back within the trial but that seemed difficult to me. I didn't like it from the beginning and I dislike it even more now. It's like laying on a cold slab, it's so hard. It hurts my shoulders. I can't get comfortable. I have had to buy mattress pads to make it warm and soft enough. I am so sorry I paid the extra thousand dollars per bed for this cooling feature. I do not like the dual beds. I have never been used to sleeping on a single bed and that's what this is. It is very uncomfortable because the edges are hard. I prefer a king size bed much more. It's pretty sad when you prefer sleeping in a motel than in your own home. It is called memory foam, but when we go away and set the heat down low, we have an Alzheimer's bed that forgets us.
I'm not quite sure why I gave it two stars, but it is well-made and the company is reputable. I am old enough to not have many more beds, if any, in my future but I can't wait to get a new one.
I also do not like the adjustable bed frame. We hardly ever use it. I thought we would use it to watch TV or read, but it hurts my back. I have used it occasionally for acid reflux as it can be adjusted ever so slightly.
I don't usually review things but I feel like the buyer should beware of this bed. Hopefully, they have improved this type in three years.”

It's been almost 3 months and ours is still way too firm. Her sister visited the last two nights and slept on it and said, "This is uncomfortable - much too firm!" We've gradually gotten used to the temperature, but it does not seem to cool as you sleep on it. If the mattress' life is 40 years +, how long before it actually gets comfortable? I'm 66 so I don't want to wait 20 years (or even 10, or 5) for it to break in.”

It took them almost 45 days to come pick up the return, and now I am going on 30 days with no refund. Emails go unanswered for weeks at a time. It is literally impossible to get any help from anyone that works here. I have not talked to one helpful employee. I do not know how on earth these people have such a high customer service score, it is the absolute worst I have ever seen.”

“When my mattress arrived, I couldn't believe how firm it was. I thought that I would return it without a doubt. My wife said there was no way she would sleep on it. Fast forward about 5 weeks and I am extremely happy with it. It did need to break in and I noticed it gets softer with your body temperature. Time will tell if it's worth the price we paid for it. I am counting on this mattress holding up for a long time. I did try the mint mattress by Tuft and Needle and returned that one. You can tell with Tempur Pedic that you are paying for a much higher quality mattress. I also recommend buying the deep-pocketed sheets for this mattress because the other sheets will not stay in very well.”

“The Medium mattress that was delivered is firmer than the firmest Tempur-pedic mattress we laid on in the showroom. We were told the delivered mattress would be 10% more firm than the showroom mattress, but this mattress is the hardest mattress I've ever slept on. It's more firm than the firm mattress we replaced, which was 5 years old.
The mattress representative at the store told us the memory foam would mold around our hips and shoulders, but even my neck and back hurt after the first several night's sleep. She was also describing the Luxbreeze while having us lay on the Probreeze, so we thought we were getting the Luxbreeze mattress. I am sure we would be enjoying our mattress if it was similar to the one we demoed at the store.
It has been an overall disappointing experience, especially because we've never invested so much in a mattress before.”

“I'm currently 28-week pregnant and the extra weight and growing belly are definitely starting to make sleeping less pleasant. For the past few months, every morning I woke up with sore lower back and my hip bones made cracking sounds when I moved. I have been sleeping on this breeze mattress for 2 weeks now. After the first night, all my pain was gone. I couldn't believe it when I first woke up and actually tried to move my body in different angles to test. But seriously, there was no pain/soreness at all. It was really magical.
The cooling fabric is another plus. As I'm in my 3rd trimester, my body feels hot all the time and I tossed in bed quite often. With this mattress, my skin in contact with the fabric actually feels ever cooler than the skin in air completely. And that cooling sensation does not go away as time passes. It's really interesting. I can finally lay in the same position for a long time comfortably. This is important because with my bump it's not as easy to move around and find a comfortable position. However, when I put the mattress cover and bed sheet on, it doesn't feel as cool anymore. I wonder if I'm supposed to lay on the bare mattress directly.
In terms of the firmness, the medium is pretty firm already. I don't think I'd need it to be firmer.
In summary, this is a great mattress for pregnant ladies. I am so grateful I get to use it. I look forward to going to bed every day now.”

I did so much research looking for the best overall rated mattress, and I came across temperpedic probreeze which apparently is cooler than a standard mattress. This mattress has not even lasted me a year before it started sinking in extensively. And i do not feel the slightest bit cooler at night. This mattress seems to retain heat. I am realistic and I know at some point it's going to break in but in less than a year and this mattress being thousands of dollars! This is nuts!!!! I am paying the price now making unjust payments for a tempurpedic mattress that didn't even last or do its supposed job. I cannot return it because it's after the 90 days which of course I understood and was told that but how can my situation be non-negotiable. Can't even support my weight?? Im 170lbs and my husband is 180.
The chronic back pain is bad enough but sleeping on a mattress that sinks soooo much in is causing me even worse back pain because my spine is far from being aligned. My body is literally curved in at night and I wake up with so much pain.
So please learn from my mistake and do not invest your savings on this overly expensive product that does not help the way it is claimed to. I am not one to leave bad reviews. I usually leave things as is. But I am struggling financially as I am sure most of us are, and to make regretful payments that some place else might have deserved is sad. Undeserving. “How has this product changed my life? I haven't had more than 4 to 5 hours of sleep since 9/3 which is when my mattress was delivered. Not only does the mattress feel like I'm sleeping on bricks but you cannot feel the "cooling" effects through the slip and slide mattress protector that they make you use as to not void the warranty. Which doesn't benefit me much since they refuse to refund my money anyway. I wake up every day with bruises on my thighs and feeling sore and tender to the touch all over my body. The lack of sleep is not only impacting me physically it's also impacting my mentally and emotionally in addition to tirggering migraines. You would think that after almost 90 days the mattres would finally let up some but no luck. We've done everything we were told to do to "break the mattress in" and nothing helps. “I spent at least 2 months searching for the right mattress. This tempur-pro Breeze medium hybrid replaced our Sealy bellagio mattress that we've had for the last 8 years. I prefer a firm mattress, but it has to have some foam cushion, as I'm a side sleeper and our Sealy wasn't great for side sleeping. The people that provided the white glove install were amazing and had everything setup and working very quickly and showed us how everything worked. I've heard some complaints that the mattress sleeps hot, but honestly, I have not noticed this and I do not like to be warm while sleeping. The base, so far, is worth every penny even though it was more expensive than most mattresses. the only thing I didn't like (and this is very petty) was the smell of the mattress for the first 3-4 nights, but it eventually dissipated and was fine. I'm very happy with this product and recommend it to anyone looking for the same.”

Both my husband and I are disabled and we have gone back and forth between flagship store and customer service for law tag. I am quite a stickler when it comes to everything being as it should. I have been told by customer service that they can register without law tag. I am not convinced that if I have a warranty issue down the road, this will not be an issue.”

“Just happened to be shopping for a new adjustable bed. Just happened to be in SouthPark Mall shopping with my wife and daughter. Just happened to look up and there is the Tempur-Pedic Store. I had no idea they had one at SouthPark. Went inside and met Rachel Yoder. An experienced Temper-Pedic salesperson. I explained I was looking for a Hybrid mattress with an adjustable base. Rachel started showing me Hybrid mattress and we slowly worked our way up. So it came down to 2 mattresses, The Tempur ProAdapt, and the Tempur Pro Breeze. Rachel explained to me the differences I quizzed her on the differences, and she knew her stuff. So I liked the Pro Breeze due to the active cooling it has. Plus it is a little firmer than the Pro Adapt. Got my wife she tried both of the mattress out and she also liked the Pro-Breeze. And we bought the standard adjustable base, after looking at the 4 styles. Needed a mattress pad and sheets. Rachel helped us wit everything. Even pillows. I sweat a lot so Rachel recommended the items that would benefit me the most. Like the Tempur-Protect Breeze Mattress Protestor. That helps with the mattress cooling features. Even the sheets, they help wick away the moisture. If you ever need a sales person, I highly reccommend Rachel Yoder. Very professional, knowledgeable, honest (can you believe that?). Sells you what you need and extremely helpful. It also helps that she is not pushy.
I thoroughly enjoy shopping here. And would not hesitate to shop at the Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store at Soth Park Mall, Charlotte NC. again. I would request Rachel to help me again.”

Then I had to go by Mattress Firm store again to verify mattress nbr because the nbr I found was different S/N sequence than what is shown in warranty book example. Aaron made this purchase a seamless event, minus the overall cost (That actually hurt a little.) However, the contracted delivery personnel were quick to say they didn't speak English. I would encourage the team to at least work with the employees as to minimize the communication challenges. Although I am pretty sure they all can cash their checks with little or no issues.”

Obviously a stores floor model has been tried by many but the firmness was totally different when it arrived at our home. We gave it two weeks to see if we could adapt but no luck, still felt too firm. Contacted Box Furniture store via online chat and they say "I am very sorry but we are not provide any comfort guarantee and return for the mattress." The chat recommended I contact TempurPedic directly, so I did, also via online chat. That chat was no use either, "You will need to go through the retailer." So basically unhappy with both businesses lack of customer service. No I DO NOT recommend this product.”

- Our mattress firmness feels similar to the one we tested in the TempurPedic store, no surprises there.
- The support and feeling upon laying down is nearly magical! (seriously!)

- Contouring is impressively for our bodies, hard to find an uncomfortable position.

- Like that the cover is removable; random side note: LOVE the zipper pulls

Cons:
- Rep at store said the cover was washable, but the tag on inside says "do not wash". still looking for clarification
- Movement isolation pretty awesome, but can feel a slightly more motion compared to our previous Tempur bed. nothing we cannot get used to.
- hard to find much wrong with it to be honest! for people shopping, be sure and visit several different stores with the same mattress; helps you get a better idea of what will be right for you since some beds have been on the sales floor for months vs weeks. also suggest not to wear jeans, the waist can kinda create a pressure point that should not exist. Our second visit my wife wore leggings and I wore basketball shorts, and we got a much better feel for the mattresses.
- Delivery guy was a cruel/nasty person, smarted off to us & made an real unpleasant scene inside our home. No masks, no footies, no gloves. Extremely disrespectful, and severely upsetted my wife. It's a long story, but if I was their manager, they would be fired on the spot. I wouldn't expect this from TempurPedic, but turns out it was a 3rd party delivery company.

Wife and I are recovering from auto accident (ACDF surgery, several RFA, PT, complete life change re: mobility, etc). We've had this bed nearly a week and already seeing an improvement in our mobility. We landed on the ProBreeze Medium with the additional cooling. (this was tricky to find on website - you have to go to Luxe Breeze, then change the dropdown from 8 to 3 degrees for the ProAdapt with addl cooling) Being primarily side sleepers, we felt this was our best option. Though we wanted the Luxe Breeze, turns out you can only purchase that in "soft" or "firm" - no "medium". Since we already have neck/shoulder issues caused by herniated discs/stenosis from accident, we were reluctant to go with the firm and the soft one was not supportive enough (and worried years from now, it would get more squishy). Hence the ProBreeze Medium.
This mattress hits a real sweet spot for us, great support and not waking up with our hands numb. My wife said she could feel the immediate release on her hips, and every morning she's woken up in the last week has been a refreshing (and long overdue) relief. In a therapeutic sense, our gut feeling is this could be an ingredient of our recovery that could be what gets us over this (seemingly) insurmountable hump in our recovery. Re: comfort, we get a great sense of micro-contouring when we initially lay down. It's quite magical to be honest. I sometimes fall asleep on my stomach and it is incredibly comfortable in this position (store rep said firm for this, but I'm not seeing any issue). Unlike the Luxe, I feel like the edges retain better and do not get the feeling I'm going to fall out of bed. The movement isolation is pretty good, but to be honest I think our Rhapsody Breeze was a tad better but this one is still above average. It's a bizarre feeling getting into a bed, and literally every position we get into is comfortable - this is a HUGE win when recovering from spine injuries. It's a weird (good) sensation to get into a bed that you sink into yet have great support - it conforms wonderfully but absolutely does not smolder you. Re: the cooling, we are happy with it's performance. Keep in mind, this will not keep you 50 degrees all night, and have read a lot of reviews with mixed expectations. We've seen a great improvement in our temp/comfort in the last week, and is certainly superior to our old Rhapsody Breeze. No overheating, no feeling of getting absorbed by hot foam, no mid-sleep sweating. Pro tip: if you pull the sheets back a few hours before bed, it seems to "absorb" the cool AC air nicely when it's time to go to sleep.
The other thing worth noting is the superb customer service with TempurPedic. We bought the Rhapsody Breeze back in 2015 - most expensive mattress they offered at the time, and had many great years of sleep on this. Few weeks ago, my wife was cleaning the sheets and noticed an issue with the foam. We called Tempur, and they indicated this was an issue and requested we send photos & fill out form. Within 12 hours, CS returned our email telling us they wanted to replace the mattress due to an apparent manufacturing issue and gave us a credit for our original purchase. Seriously, 12 hours!! This is as impressive as it gets IMO, there were no hidden fees or strings attached. Simply pick out mattress that we wanted to replace it with, and they promptly shipped. There was no pro-rated costs, no "mattress inspector" that had to validate things, no impossible red-tape, minimal hoops to jump through. It was dealt with the way it should be, and we're *extremely* grateful.
Overall, these mattresses are worth the investment. eThe sleep is incredible ,the customer service is impeccable, and the comfort of having this mattress to look forward too is overwhelmingly incredible for us ,as we continue to recover from spine injuries. Hope this review has been helpful to some; I know we spent a LOT of time searching and reading reviews, since this is a large purchase. Again, best advice would be to go to several stores with the exact same mattress to draw an average conclusion on your purchase. If we hadn't, i think we would have ended up with the wrong bed.”

“This really is a firm mattress. I was a little sore in my joints for the first 6 or so nights I slept on it. To help break it in, I "ran" some laps on it, did a little light jumping, and butt smashed the edges all of the way around. I am now almost 2 weeks into the break in, and it is becoming more comfortable. I did make a small mistake. I was only breaking in one side of the queen, and that came back to get me when I wandered over to the other side one night. I was pretty sore in my hips and shoulder the next morning. If you get this mattress, break in both sides at the same time. Every other night switch sides, get a sleeping partner, call your neighbor...whatever you need. I went from a good side to a very firm side and suffered a little for it. Overall- the mattress is VERY supporting. It does not "cave in" under your weight, so changing positions is easy and effortless. The topper keeps you sleeping cool. I love that it is removable for those cold nights when you want a little extra warmth. It works well with the Eco Smart Base and I find my self lounging in bed more than I should. It is welcoming when I am beat after a day at the Hospital in the OR. Lot's of standing, lifting, walking...it is welcoming when I am beat. I tried to go with another standard Serta...but it wasn't happening. I really love the TempurPedic. It will take a special mattress to get me out of this one!!”

I tested all the mattresses in store and decided for this. Now Im quite disappointed because It´s been only 2 years and now my sleep is really bad, it feels so soft, like you sit and you can tell how it sinks. This is not supposed to happen in a 2 year old mattress, and of course the guaranty doesn´t cover how it "feels" so you are stuck with a very expensive pain in the back mattress :(

This is the first time we've opted to get the base that rises the head and feet. My comment about that is they really need to figure out how to attach that frame to the headboard without brackets that leave a huge gap between the mattress and the headboard. We finally decided to just toss brackets and moved the bed up against the headboard. Would also recommend the company provide sliders to be put under the legs of the base. It is IMPOSSIBLE to move once in place without them. All and all minor adjustments for a great product. Only other comment is I ordered a mattress pad from the store when I ordered the bed and it's been 2 months and I still don't have it.”

Also, being new to Tempur-Pedic as a customer I do not see log in entry- learned later (next day) that the path to the log in is through "service". Again, it is not very ethical to hide the log-in and then require a 2-hour order cancelation policy. Was on hold twice today and bumped out of the queue after 1 hour each time.
Wish I could review the product and be a delighted customer, but after this experience I am not confident that Tempur-Pedic offers quality service.

We have multiple Tempurpedic pillows & previously had a Tempurpedic mattress topper & have always been pleased with the quality- they've always lasted us for years. So, after having a few different mattresses over the years that we didn't particularly like, we decided to bite the bullet & spend the extra $ on a Tempurpedic. They are extremely expensive & we knew it would take us a while to pay off but we figured it would be worth it for a better nights sleep. Well, not even 2 years into having our Tempurpedic mattress, we recently noticed it was sinking in on the one side. So, we unzipped the removable cover & to our HORROR we realized that there is a HUGE rip in the foam underneath the blue cover! It has been that way for about a couple of weeks now and it has gotten worse and worse from us just simply SLEEPING on it (which is what a mattress is FOR) and now it is so bad that it's torn through nearly half the width of the mattress & more tears are forming from the original tear- extending from the top where our pillows are all the way down to basically the middle of the mattress. It is just a complete MESS. We are EXTREMELY disappointed & angry about the situation, since our mattress isn't even paid off yet and it's making it so my fiance can barely sleep at night because he's sinking into the rip in the mattress & it's getting worse every day, but we have no choice but to sleep on it! So we're in a real bind with this whole situation. We have no idea how a mattress that's supposed to be the best quality & a "10 year warranty" would break after not even 2 years of normal, basic use. We have taken great care of it and never did anything other than sleep on it. As loyal customers to Tempurpedic, we are extremely disappointed & upset about the quality of this mattress!”

“I had already owned an older Tempurpedic and because I was moving to a new home, I wanted to put it in the guest room and upgrade my bed. I did overheat in the older model and a good friend of mine told me his wife loved the PRObreeze and I am very happy with my purchase. I don't deal with the night sweats like I used to and I like the comfort of the mattress. Dealing with hot flashes and such, which would typically hit me at night, I don't find myself throwing the covers off and on anymore. I still use both the ceiling fan and a fan on the side, but it is far better than before. I also purchased the Ergo Extend Smart Base and I really enjoy being able to easily sit up in the bed and raise my feet. After my move, I was in so much pain and my legs, ankles, and feet were super swollen. Once I got my bed in and I was able to easily raise my legs, the swelling went away. I do not use the AI technology with it because after reading the terms & conditions of the app, as an IT person myself, it really creeps me out with the level of information that is shared, but I am very happy with both the frame and mattress.”

Mattress is great but base is a major issue

“First, we were promised that the install team would come with the right legs to put our mattress at the right height. They did not, and we had to pay for an extra set of legs.
When the second team came to install the legs on the frame, we discovered that one of the six places where legs are screwed into the base was not straight. Our sales person ordered a second base.
The second base arrived and appeared to be a ok, but on the first night, we noticed that the bed moves side-to-side every time either my wife or I move. It's nothing like in the store where both of our movements were isolated from each other. Our rep offered a free accessory for our inconvenience which we appreciated.
I decided to look under the bed and discovered that one of the six legs is cockeyed just like before but a different location. Our rep is trying to get approval to upgrade us to the highest base. It has many more features we don't care about. We just want a stable mattress that doesn't move. He assures us that if approved, we will be pleased. If we are not, we will ask to be down graded to the basic base and refund us the difference.
Finally, the breeze does keep us cooler than a normal mattress but it does NOT eliminate all the heat my body creates.
We are pleased but just want to get this base issue resolved.”

We went to our local small business distributor, tried out several mattresses, and selected the PRObreeze as the most comfortable. It was delivered the very next week and we couldn't be more pleased! The mattress is firm, but not hard, and feels like a very comfortable temperature. We have a king platform bed with no boxspring and can't feel our partner's movements at all. Our deal included a free mattress cover, free sheet set and free pillows (we chose Tempur Adapt Pro-Hi King Pillows which we also love). We couldn't be happier with our choice! (Just be sure to take a picture of the mattress tag and note the serial number before it is placed on your frame--it's on the bottom of the mattress and can be hard to access once your mattress is in place.)”

My only disappointment came when I contacted Tempur-pedic corporate to purchase a mattress protector directly from them. I purchased the ONLY mattress protector that Tempurpedic offers on their website. Their mattress protector arrived & looked ok. Days later, I discovered that there are several sources available that offer what I believe is a more recent and technologically advanced Tempurpedic product. Tempurpedic named it "Tempur-Protect Breeze"(Made of Tencel-lyocell) and is designed to interface with the Breeze technology of my Breeze mattress. What could be better? The rep at Tempurpedic corporate who stated that she was on the leadership team, told me that anything other than the one that I purchased thru corporate must be an old, discontinued model.

Worst sleep of my life

“I was on the hunt for a great mattress because sleep is VERY important to me. I'm an 8 hours minimum every night kind of gal. Of course, tempurpedic was a top contender and although the price is much higher than competitors, the promises and reviews of a great night sleep are priceless. We initially purchased the firm mattress and returned it for the medium within the first 90 days. I already knew it was still too firm for me but the 90-day warranty only allows you to swap your mattress once. We also didn't have a store nearby to go try the different firmnesses so we went off the recommendation of their customer service staff. I was stuck with it and hoped my body would "adjust". It didn't. I'm writing this review exhausted with terrible neck and back pain. I absolutely HATE this mattress and highly recommend AGAINST purchasing it. At First, I Hated It!

“I had previously been sleeping on a different brand of hybrid mattress for about ten years and I definitely needed to replace it as I was waking up with aches and should pain. I have always wanted a Tempur-Pedic mattress so I decided to go with the medium hybrid. My previous mattress had been a soft mattress, in fact, very plush, so I expected the medium to feel differently. What I did not expect was that the medium would actually feel like a firm mattress! My first night with this mattress was not at all what I expected. I found it to not be a plush feeling or even a comfortable mattress! In fact, I was looking to replace it after one night!
However, after speaking to a sales associate, I decided to continue with the mattress and give it a chance. I'm so glad I did! Even though I found it to be initially far less comfortable than I expected, I did notice that my shoulder pain was far less pronounced after just one night. It was a mystery to me. How could something I found to be so uncomfortable actually help me wake up feeling less achy? After a little over a month with this mattress, I now have a theory about that. While my previous mattress had been decidedly more plush out of the bag, it was probably at least 3 years overdue for replacement. Also, a slightly firmer mattress may be actually better for support and alignment than a plush mattress. I believe that part of what changed for me was that I had to adapt to a mattress that was supporting my body better as well as adapting to Tempur's formula for memory foam. It is a totally different caliber than that of other companies.
One thing I loved about this hybrid is the fact that you can sit on the edge of the bed without feeling as though you are gradually slipping off. It retains it's shape while sitting on the edge. It also quickly returns to it's shape after getting off it. Another feature that I was thrilled with was the cooling effect of the PRObreeze hybrid! It isn't a gimmick! I can actually feel the mattress begin to cool as soon as I settle in. I have enjoyed this cooling property every night and that's with heavy flannel sheets and a goose down comforter! This isn't a gimmick - it really works!
While this mattress is more on the firm side of medium, it will reward you with the best night's sleep if you give it a chance! Even though my initial response was to want to return it immediately, this mattress has definitely softened very slightly over a month. I don't expect it to change drastically or even too much more, but after allowing my body to adjust to sleeping on Tempur-Pedic's formula and after the cells have slightly opened up, I can say this medium hybrid has just the perfect amount of give and allows me to sink into it to just the right level to provide excellent support for my body - and I sleep primarily on my back and side.
If you are like me, a first time Tempur-Pedic mattress customer, give the mattress at least 30 days. It allows you to adjust to the bed and the mattress a chance to adjust to you. I realize now just how unsupportive and worn out my previous mattress had been after switching to this hybrid. I can say that I have had zero pain in my shoulders or upper back now and waking up without pain is, in and of itself, a wonderful, miraculous feeling. I know many people say that in their reviews, but I actually experienced it and I was initially very critical of this mattress. The cooling isn't hype. I really does what it is advertised to do. In fact, if the LuxeBreeze came in a full size mattress, I would buy it without hesitation! If this is 3 degrees cooler, I can only imagine how amazing the 8 degrees cooler would be! Not all memory foam mattresses are the same. Tempur-pedic, while more costly than the other brands, is actually in a league by itself and it will reward you with an amazing night's sleep! While I initially regretted the purchase, I now believe it was money well-spent!”

We demo'd several different mattresses. We went in thinking memory foam mattresses right away and tempur pedic hadn't really crossed our minds until we plopped down into the Breeze models when we were trying out various models in the store. The pro breeze was right up our alley as it was very cool and it gets very hot here down in Texas. We were tempted by the luxe one but it was a little too firm, but the medium suited us just fine!
We noticed an improvement in our backs 2 nights in. I am sleeping much better than I ever have before. The salesman told me that one of the cons behind the Tempur Pedic mattress is I won't be able to sleep in other beds comfortably again. He may be right as I am enjoying the mattress and have never felt better about a purchase like this.
We are very comfortable sleeping at night I am a hot sidesleeper a tad overweight and it relieves my pressure and keeps me cool with the breeze model, and she's a more cold sensitive type of sleeper but it doesn't phase her with the cooling feature.

“I was under the impression that this mattress would have a cooling effect from the minute you lay down and all night, and this is what it felt like in the store...but the mattress I received doesn't do that. The retail stores said they called the Tempur-Pedic regional rep and was told that if the room the mattress is in is hot/warm, then the mattress will be warm/hot, but if the room is cool, the mattress will have the cooling effect. I missed where this was stated on this website or in the store. I spent $150 on sheets, then $150 on a Tempur-Pedic mattress cover and another $150 on a cooling graphite mattress protector, all I was told would help the mattress cooling. Fast forward, my bedroom was the coolest it's been in a while, I woke up sweating because I was warm, I got out of bed and put my hand under the sheet and mattress protector...the mattress itself was really warm...not cool, not even close! Now I'm told the mattress protectors I'm using is causing the mattress to be warm...but if you don't use the mattress protector, it voids the warranty, which is why I explained what was going on to Tempur-Pedic and they recommended their $150 mattress protector, which ends up being much warmer than the graphite protector the store recommended. The mattress I received does not do any of what is mentioned on this site and the retail store says it should work, now the store is done with this and I'm stuck with an almost $4000 furnace. I purchased this not even a month ago.”

Having the ability to raise my head or feet, even just a little bit, makes a huge difference in taking stress of my joints. Miracle Working Premium Mattress

“My husband and I decided to make an investment in our health when we decided to purchase a new mattress. My husband has chronic back and nerve pain due to degenerative disk disease. He has had 10 back surgeries to repair his spine and currently has a neurostimulator implanted in his spine to help with the chronic pain. He is never out of pain and I suspected our old mattress was not helping at all. I have an auto immune disease and fibromyalgia which both cause joint and muscle pain so chronic pain is a part of my life as well but not to the same degree as my husband. My husband spends a great deal of time lying flat in our bed as this is the only position that gives some relief to his pain. With our old mattress, he had pillows to prop himself up and lift his legs to take the pressure off his spine.
When we shopped for the tempurpedic mattress, he was sold right away in the store. We decided on the Luxebreeze soft mattress in a split king. We also purchased the adjustable base so my husband could raise his legs and head to take the pressure off his spine. The split mattress is the only thing about the bed that is taking some getting used to. We opted for this one so my husband could adjust his side to his liking without disturbing me; however, we have always snuggled so this is a big change, but nothing we can't handle.
We both get hot during the night so purchasing the LUXbreeze with the cooling feature has been awesome. We both love it. The height of the bed on the base has been good for my husband as well in getting on and off the bed. He can get up from the side of the bed with much more ease now.
As far as sleeping on the mattress, it has been life changing for us. After the very first night, my husband and I both noticed a marked difference in our pain. After just a few nights, my husband said he feels better than he has in a long time. He commented he can certainly tell a huge difference in not only the quality of sleep he is getting but also the way his body feels when he gets up. This is the miracle. He never gets a reprieve from the pain but I could see in his face that he felt better. Again, a miracle.
For me, I had a stretching routine that I used to do upon waking in the morning to help with my pain and stiffness. After a few nights sleeping on the Tempurpedic mattress, I started to do my morning stretch and realized that I wasn't hurting. I couldn't believe it. Obviously, I am sleeping better as well.
If our testimony isn't convincing enough, just know that my kids love it as well. Since my husband spends so much time flat of his back, our family has adjusted to family time in our bed. Since my kids were little, our bed has been the gathering place to watch movies, talk, and just be together. Our kids don't want to leave our bed now. They love it as much as we do.
I can't say enough about the Tempurpedic mattress. It really has changed our lives in the short time we have had it. I look forward to many years of restful, pain-free sleep. Thank you so much Tempurpedic.”

First the delivery company never unhooked the backup battery box. So when the support base was stuck in the up position I had to be the one to find it, insert the batteries at 74 years old. It wasn't pleasant.

“I wish I could give a great review on the Tempur Pedic Luxe Breeze Soft! My wife and I were excited to buy this mattress because it received great reviews and the mattress felt amazing at the store. My wife and I work long hours and have physically and emotionally demanding jobs, so a great night sleep is extremely important to us! My wife is like a furnace when she sleeps, so we spend the money to get a cooler bed! We both cannot feel any difference in cooling compared to our old mattress. We have tried sleeping on the mattress without the mattress protector and with just a sheet. There was no difference! We were both hopeful that we would not be tossing and turning anymore at night with the mattress, this is not the case! We bought the soft because we loved it in the store. I checked the tag 3 times when it arrived at our house, to make sure it said soft. It's like sleeping on the floor. When you buy a mattress that cost as much as this one, you expect the best. This was not the case! Its saddening to have to write this review because we really wanted to love this mattress.
The only pro would be that you can't feel your partner move very much on the mattress.

I had issues with my shoulders and arms as well...unfortunately I am not a back sleeper but this mattress is allowing me to sleep on my back & sides alternately. So far my shoulder issues are slowly getting better because of being able to sleep partly on my back. I think the Medium Hybrid was a great choice, because it still has coils underneath all of the other layers. That is helpful for us getting into and out of bed more comfortably, as well as turning from side to side. When I first tried the Tempur-Pedic mattress it was very difficult to move and seemed to cause more pain. The "Hybrid" for me was the game changer. “The pro breeze medium has been great. My wife usually sleeps hot and sweats in bed, she has not had any issues since we purchased the mattress. I am a light sleeps and haven't had any issues with waking up due to movement. The one issue we have had was the break-in period with the bed. With our old Tempur-Pedic, it took a month to break in but this pro breeze took about a week. The only other issue we have seen is buying king size sheets at store don't seem to fit right with the mattress.”

“My husband and I were looking for a new mattress as the one he had prior to meeting me was causing me hip pain. We both sleep on our sides and are of average build, but for some reason, our previous very soft mattress was causing me to wake up several times a night in pain.
We went to the store and immediately laid down on a super plush mattress and thought we had found a bed. Luckily the Salesman pulled up our last mattress purchase and gently recommended we avoid buying that one as it was the same one my husband purchased just 6 years prior.
He recommended we try the Tempurpedic line of mattresses. We went around and flopped ourselves down on each one- avoiding the super firm ones and staying within the Medium-Soft profile. My husband first found the Tempur Pro-Breeze mattress and said I just had to come over and try it. It was immediately cool to the touch and was even slightly uncomfortably cold for me, but he liked it and rationalized I could always wear something heavier to bed.
We pulled the trigger and bought a King sized Tempur-ProBreeze Medium Hybrid. We went with the hybrid as it had a little more bounce in it. Two weeks later it arrived and the first night was ok but then we realized that once we put a waterproof mattress protector one the cooling effects were almost negated.
It doesn't sleep hot, but it does not sleep as cool as we expected it to after trying it in the store.
I don't wake up with hip pain anymore, but I feel like I still wake up just as often and now have experienced the new problem of having to keep my C-PAP mask on throughout the night (never a problem before changing mattresses). This mattress is very firm, but does not feel hard like some mattresses.
While we enjoy the mattress, we do wish we would have went with the Tempur-LuxBreeze Soft mattress instead as that is supposed to be 5 degrees cooler than the ProBreeze or just simply a cheaper mattress as the cooling is not as pronounced as we would like.”

“We did extensive research on mattresses before we chose this specific one. We also were lucky that a TempurPedic store recently opened so we could safely try out the brands we were considering. Spending over $4,500 on a mattress (and we purchased the foundation) is quite an investment. We wanted to make sure this was the one. We purchased a cal king roughly 3 weeks ago and are still getting used to it, thus the reason for 4 stars not 5. We previously woke up feeling sore all over and with this product, we do not. I don't envision us returning the product but we are still adjusting. I also purchased TempurPedic sheets separately and I'm very disappointed in them. They were $199 each (I bought two cal king sets) and for that price they should come out of the dryer not wrinkled. My JCP sheets come out from the wash better and were substantially cheaper than the TempurPedic $200/each set. I am thoroughly disappointed in their sheets and will not spend any money again on their sheet sets. I purchased the Prima sheets.”

“I am expecting my first child, and my husband and I are both practically space heaters while sleeping. This mattress has a temperature regulating feature that works relatively well. I still get hot after being in it for several hours, but hey, being pregnant in the 3rd trimester in the summer is bound to make you a little toastier than usual. The adjustable base has really helped a great deal with indigestion and restless leg issues brought on by pregnancy. I'd say if you value a good night's rest and the effect it has on your quality of life I highly recommend this mattress, It is definitely pricey, but I look at it as in investment in our overall health, and the warranty on it is fantastic, so well worth it. Because of my height, I did wind up needing a step stool to get in and out of bed comfortably because the mattress itself is quite thick and therefore a little climbing was needed to get onto the bed. All and all I'd rate the mattress and adjustable base 5 stars!”

“I will say that it does make the mattress cooler, but the cooling cover is noisy and kind of crunches when you move on it. I would think that is coming from what material has been added to the cover to produce the cooling. I am trading mine in for one that does not have the cooling so that it is quieter when I sleep. That and I really don't see any value in a cooling mattress.”

“Mattress keeps you cooler than others we have used. It took about a week to get used to the mattress as it is firmer than our prior mattress. We like the fact you can turn around on it without disturbing your partner. I am sleeping much better on this mattress than our old one.”

“My wife and I have been getting better sleep, the mattress feels so comfortable. I don't think I could go back to a regular mattress after this. It eases the pressure on my back and when I wake up in the morning my back less irritated, as with my old mattress. Recommend this to anyone.”

My back feels supported and aligned. So far, we could not be happier. My husband said for the first time in 10 years hes waking up without back pain and we had a sleep by number bed. “There's some things in life that you learn, sometimes the best lessons are by pure accident... this mattress supported my back (I wasn't aware of my spine issues!) saved my sleep, changed my life. I would not normally spend that kind've $ on (a bed) but found it is one of the most important things in your life, incredible. I love its firm support & "non heating" cooler materials. Hope it doesn't ever lose its good quality. Nicely made.”
