“once you get used to it, there is nothing like a tempurpedic bed. they are not like a traditional mattress. we chose the hybrid model because it felt a lot better. more expensive but well worth it. after a while the mattress conforms to your body just right. they are a little firm at first but it gets better. there is nothing like tempur foam. there are a lot of foam mattresses but it's not tempur foam. it's the best. ”

Finally a mattress we love

“After years of buying mattresses that break down within the first year, we decided on a Tempur-Pedic. We tried one at a mattress store and then researched online and called a flagship store to ask more questions. Luckily we talked to Matthew Arns, store mgr of Rancho Cucamonga, Ca. He was a wealth of information and answered all of our questions. We decided to go into the store that day to meet with him and were extremely happy with his service. He recommended the Luxebreeze Medium Hybrid along with the Tempur Ergo ProSmart base. It was a lot more money than we were originally going to invest but we are so happy we did. I believe we have finally found a mattress we are in love with. My hubby who has always been a stomach sleeper is now a back sleeper due to the zero gravity option on the power base and we both are getting the best night sleep ever!”

“This is a nice mattress however we purchased a medium and it took up about 2-3 weeks to get accustomed to the firmness. I’m not sure how I feel about the cooling technology as if you put a mattress protector on you definitely don’t get the benefit of that technology. Additionally, the mattress is quite heavy and not easily moved when changing the bed. Overall I am satisfied with the mattress. ”

An excellent choice for individuals who suffer with arthritis, fibromyalgia or disorders that cause generalized pain. “Years ago, I bought the old-school Temperpedic Mattress, I ended up returning it after a month of trying it out. It was WAY to hot for me. I was reluctant to get another one, but after talking with the salesman at Mattress Firm, he convinced me to give the "new generation" of Temperpedic Mattresses a second chance. I'm so glad I did!!! They have reformulated the foam so it pulls the heat away from your body. Unbelievable difference! I bought the "Hybrid" Temperpedic mattress which is made with both foam and springs. It has 1300 innersprings which offers excellent back support. I've had a bad back for years. I had back surgery last year, and trying to find a comfortable position on my old bed was impossible. That's why we finally made the decision to get a new mattress. The first night on the new mattress was very comfortable. I woke up in the morning with NO back pain for the first time in years. After the next morning, I knew then, that we had made the right choice in buying this bed. I've been sleeping on it for over a month now, and it's only gotten better. We also bought the Ergo adjustable bed frame, so we can move the mattress up and down for watching TV, and for elevating my swollen legs occasionally. I'm extremely happy with this bed set. ”

“I am one that doesn't always write reviews unless it's "exceptional". I owned a Tempur-Pedic Confront Breeze for nine-in-half years and for 9 1/2 years it gave me a backache. I recently walked into an Tempur-Pedic retail store and was reminded of the 10 years warranty of sleep confrontable.
Within two days of contacting Tempur-Pedic, I was issued a full refund credit to purchase a brand-new mattress, (that's unheard off today) anyway received my LuxeBreeze queen yesterday, and for the first time in 9 1/2 years, woke up this morning amazed with no backache and would have gladly slept another hour, it was so confrontable.
The LuxeBreeze, Medium Hybrid is confrontable and cool, even sleeping on the edge of the bed due to my small lovable dog pushing up against me at night, but not to worry the mattress does its job by supporting you even on the edge, great purchase, and with the upgrade I'm protected for another 10 years, what else can one buy and get such a deal.
Call and talk to their wonderful customer service agents they are experts they will help you though any questions you may have in making the right decision of which model is best for you, and many other questions about the product, I did.

“I am one month into sleeping on the Luxe Breeze and am loving it. I have to admit the first few weeks were rough - this mattress starts firm and is hard to get used to. But now that I've broken it in (some), it is great and getting better every night. For current cons, my shoulders still get sore (I'm a side sleeper) so I have to turn over several times at night, and I still sleep hot on it (not sure why the cooling isn't working as advertised), but I'm confident things will improve. I'm still in the trial period, but feel confident I'll keep the mattress. I now love the feel of the tempur material and look forward to sinking into the mattress every night. Honestly, I'm starting to believe this will be the best mattress of my life (and I'm 64, and have gone through a bunch). So far so good! ”

“I like a firm mattress and my husband likes soft, in fact a latex mattress is his preference, until now. I never thought we could agree on a mattress. However, the Tempur-LuxeBreeze Medium Hybrid solved the dilemma. The memory foam gave him the soft feel he wanted and the springs gave me the firmness my back needed. I can't attest to the cooling factor yet. It's been record breaking cold temps here in Tennessee for the last couple of weeks, but I expect it will perform just fine. My only complaint is that the mattress is so heavy, it's difficult to tuck the sheets in under it. However, we haven't had the mattress a month yet and we are sold!”

LuxeBreeze Hybrid - Very Comfortable So Far

“After previously sleeping on the original Tempurpedic hybrid mattress for about 8 years, we upgraded to the LuxeBreeze hybrid. The original hybrid was very comfortable but retained heat. The new LuxeBreeze is even more comfortable and does not retain as much heat as the original hybrid did. I'm not sure it actually is 10 degrees cooler as advertised, but it's definitely noticeable. I think we expected a bit more cooling based on what the marketing materials and salespeople told us as well as the very high price, thus the 4 star rating. In any case, we're sleeping better and not waking up as much. Be warned that it is a VERY heavy mattress (we have the King) and we had to help the 2 delivery men bring it up the stairs to the 2nd floor. ”

“We purchased this mattress because we formally had a Temperdic Rhapsody and had it for 17 years. This new Tempur-LuxeBreeze is supposed to be cooler than the Rhapsody with the new cooling technology. We have slept in this new LuxeBreeze for a month, and it is no cooler than the Rhapsody. Both of us wake up soaked with sweat even when the temperature outdoors is in the teens. Very disappointed in the cooling technology. Doesn't keep one cooler.”

Good support but a bit too firm

“It provides good back support and spinal alignment but is a bit to firm for my side sleeping. Would be curious to know if the soft version would have been a better fit. I thought the mattress would soften up but it hasn't as of yet. I've had it for days now. For reference, I'm 6'2" and weigh 230 lbs with a large frame. My shoulders start to hurt after awhile of sleeping on the mattress. I don't sleep hot in this mattress. I do have an extra thick mattress protector on it which helps.”

If you woke up hot after sleeping on your old foam mattress, you will likely wake up feeling just as hot after a night on this mattress. The very temporary coolness when you first lie down may help you fall asleep comfortably, but after 20 minutes or so you may as well be on the old foam mattress that never promised a cooler night’s sleep.”

“Was much easier to get use to than we were anticipating. By about the 5th night we were locked in as to comfortability (which is highly unusual for us because we don't normally embrace a lot of change when in comes to what we sleep on). Morning back/neck pains have been eliminated since we started sleeping on this "Luxe-Breeze". We also got two dual adjustable bases which is a very big hit ... LOVE Them! A word of caution, when the traditional King bed gets adjusted with the "head up" there is a natural tendency to slide down gradually as the night progresses (so your feet are off the bottom if you are 6' 1" like me). Hence, I would suggest that a California KIng might be something to consider to get if you are taller than 5ft, 10" and don't need the extra width for the kids or dogs. ”

Medium mattress extremely firm with strong smell

“Received this mattress after testing it in the store and found it to be a completely different mattress than what I laid on in the store. It is extremely firm even after a month of use. A little bit softer after a month. I’ve been told that it’s supposed to break in, but I’m nervous about that. Also, the smell is extremely offputting and strong. It has faded, but is still there a little bit even after a month. My husband hates the mattress. I don’t understand why it feels so different from store tester. At this point it seems like it will take a year to break in. We owned the temper cloud breeze before, and it had a nicer feel. They don’t make that one anymore though.”

“We tried the Costco Tempur-Pedic supreme, and it just didn't do it for us. So, we returned that to Costco and tried the Tempur-Luxeadapt. It was better but my wife is a hot sleeper and the Tempur- LuxeAdapt was pretty warm for us. We traded it in for the Tempur-LuxeBreeze medium hybrid and boom!!! Just like that. SLEEP!!! We really wanted it to begin with, but the price scared us away. I wish we would have went with our gut and got the Tempur-LuxeBreeze the first time. The Firm was too hard for me and the Soft was too soft (felt like sinking in). The edges are firm so I don't feel like I will roll off the edge. Looking forward to sleeping on an excellent matteress that will last up to the 10-year warranty or beyond. ”

“Cooling is very apparent with the breeze sheets or any breathable sheets. It does get hot with some cotton sheets. Take some time to break in but once broken in it is extremely comfortable and conforms perfectly. I no longer wake up at night and get a perfect 8 hours of sleep. Highly recommend and well worth the price for cool comfortable sleep.”
